”Wir waren zu Dritt (meine Frau und Sohn) auf einem Roadtrip in Südengland und hatten uns abends spontan entschieden ein Hotel zu suchen. Prompt fanden wir besagtes Hotel welches auf den Bilder sehr schön und passend für uns dargestellt war. Also hatten wir das Hotel fix gebucht, da wir ja sowieso 1 Stunde später dort waren. Schon bei der Anfahrt ist uns die wirklich schlechte Zufahrt zum Hotel aufgefallen (Schlaglöcher, brüchiger Teer, etc.). Wir waren schon etwas frustriert. An der Rezeption...

”We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend.”

”Great location, beautifully decorated room and good quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc. However .. our room (9) was TINY .. the gap on one side of the bed was approx 8 inches between the bed and the wall so very difficult to navigate safely particularly at night without stubbing your toe on the one side or bumping into to door handle on the other. There was no where to put a suitcase to unpack other than on the bed or the floor which was difficult for us. The en-suite was tastefully...

”I had a warm welcome and my case was taken up to my room. The room was large with king sized bed. All clean, dated, but that suited the age of hotel! There was a small table with kettle and a selection of tea, coffee etc. Large en-suite with large shower. Lots of choices on breakfast menu and cooked freshly. Parking was easy. Location was excellent. 5 minutes walk to Lacock Abbey. Lacock is a very small place but very interesting.”

”We use this hotel as it is conveniently placed to visit friends in Keynsham for a yearly reunion. The hotel has friendly helpful staff and the breakfast is always of a good standard. The parking is good, the room very clean. Just one observation was the blind in the bathroom in our room 10 could be better but not a big issue.”
