Me gustó, a unos metros de la Central de trenes, está vigilada la zona por la estación. Hay comida rápida. Restaurante cercanos alrededor de las calles hacia cualquier lado. Y el Hotel ofrece lo que dicen los espacios buenos, el desayuno buffet bueno pero limitado de variedad de alimentos. Gracias la pasamos muy a gusto.

Quaint little hotel in the middle of the action!
Great little hotel downtown near the train station. They let me check in early and that was a blessing since I was a little jet-lagged. Would stay here again. Loved my little room with a twin bed. Very comfortable and cozy. The room curtains made it so nice and dark for sleeping.

Room was small and felt old. Bathroom was new. Bed was ok. Overall it was fine. Mini fridge was stocked, coffee and tea were there. Price was right. Would I go there again? Maybe.

The hotel is NOT in the shady, drug-dealing red-light district, but it's on the border of it. So that was a relief: there weren't any of the drug-dealers, hookers and homeless you see around the Central Train Station/Haupbahnhof about 500m away. As soon as you head in the direction away from the train station and hotel, you see nicer restaurants and establishments - so, nothing wrong with the neighborhood, and barely a 10-minute walk to the Central Train Station. There is a wardrobe and a small mini-fridge in the room, plus an iron and full-length ironing board, which was a nice surprise for Europe. A super noisy bathroom fan that automatically came on with the light, no big deal. Room was larger than your typical German hotel room, and best of all, there is a receptionist in the small entrance lobby 24/7. Also a very pleasant surprise for Europe: no movement sensors! The front door of the hotel was unlocked all the time - as the reception is only a few feet away -- and walking up the stairs and down the halls was easy with the lights on 24/7, no sensors, and no sensors in the room or in the mini-fridge. Just felt like the good ol' days. The only negative, not major: the room could use a little love, considering it was about $115 a night in the off-season. The carpet by the door had a huge stain, maybe there'd been a flood, and the part of the carpet under the big window and radiator was dusty. You could see the cleaners don't really do such a fantastic job.

Der Rezeptionist beim Check-in war sehr effizient. Ihre Kompetenz war außergewöhnlich. Ich habe schon oft in diesem Hotel übernachtet, aber das Einchecken verlief zum ersten Mal reibungslos. Sie legt großen Wert auf eine gute Gästebetreuung und darauf, den Gast glücklich zu machen. Ich brauche mehr wie sie. Nicht zu vergessen ihr warmes Lächeln. Leider war die Frau beim Auschecken sehr kämpferisch. Ich schätze, dass ich nicht beides haben kann, was traurig ist. Vielleicht könnte die Rezeptionistin am Abend der Empfangsdame am Morgen ein paar „Best Practices“-Tipps geben.

The first bad impression was the strong smell of cigarettes in the room, the dirty carpet and a beer cap on the floor. They made the effort to try to change our room, which was worse. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and the bed was not very clean. The experience was so bad that we only spent one night there out of the three we booked. The treatment of the people was friendly and they tried to resolve the situation, however, the place was not at all what we expected or what we saw in the pictures.
