”You never quite know what you’re going to get when staying in remote areas, but this property was a gem. It’s tranquil, quiet, and full of wildlife. We booked it specifically to catch a meteor shower, and it did not disappoint. The dark, starry skies were incredible.The property features an easy hiking trail that follows a jeep path. The owner had kindly mowed a path through the tall grass, which stretched for well over a mile. For those who want a bit more adventure, there are shorter, steeper...

”The houses seem very new and the location is very convenient for visiting the vineyards in the area. Waking up and drinking coffee while watching cows in the field is a nice touch. Do note they don’t have ovens or stoves so morning breakfast can be a bit difficult but minor flaw in what was overall a wonderful stay.”

”The Honey Creek cabin so so charming and cozy and the property it’s on is beautiful! Saw lots of wildlife (deer, rabbits, cardinals and hummingbirds). The bed was super soft. The hot showers felt so nice after a day hiking Enchanted Rock (~30min away). It was really easy to get into town for nice meals and shopping (~15min). The home was well-stocked with cooking essentials. It was a great, relaxing retreat for us, and hopefully you to!”
