”Seaweed smell due to tractor being broken and beach not being cleared. There was loud construction in the lobby, only 2 restaurants were open our entire stay, had to switch rooms due to pungent smell of seaweed. New room had brown-tinged water one morning, and no blanket or comforter on bed. The bedding consisted of pillow, flat sheet, and fitted sheet. No blanket or anything. ”We loved our stay at Cocos. The hotel staff were lovely. The food menus changed each night and were all delicious. If you stay at cocos definitely be sure to book a couples massage and a dinner on the beach. We found both to be well worth it. Paddle boarding and kayaking were our favorite activities. And the beach bar had great lunch choices right by the beach.”

”We loved our stay at Hawksbill. The food was excellent for an AI property. The king bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It's low-key and couples' oriented, so if you're expecting a large resort with lots of activities, this is not your place. ”The property is clean..
They falsely advertise there “Ocean View” rooms . There are no actual “ocean view” rooms unless you are part of diamond club … I paid for a “Luxury Ocean View” room and got a view of a pool and literally a corner of the beach . They did not offer an upgrade for the inconvenience…
There is a temporary $300 dollar charge due at check -in … they did not mention this prior to booking
The hot tubs/whirlpools are not hot and the staff refused to fix them
