”Nice and modern hotel close to the centre and key locations. Only negative aspect was the really loud music playing in the lobby, which makes it quite annoying entrance everytime you return to the hotel. Luckily the sound insulation is top class and you can’t hear the music - or anything else for that matter - in the rooms. ”

”Good location 15 mins walk to centre along the river. Clean rooms and adaquite kitchen. Free morning pastries was a basket full of plain croissants not alot of choise there. Coffee machine was broke but hot water and coffee available in its place. We just made one in our room. Lovely veiw over the river.”

”The hotel was amazing. The room and bathroom were very spacious (the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in).
The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring York, with the city centre only a 10-minute walk away.
The only downside I can think of is that the bath drain smelled a little funky, but I think that’s fairly normal for historic buildings, especially on the ground floor.
We will definitely stay there again if we visit York in the future. Highly...
