The hotel is nice and clean. The quality of service and politeness depends on who you're dealing with. The cleaners of the hotel were super lovely, polite and did an excellent job! Hotel satisfies the basic needs, but doesn't give any extra. We asked a room from upper floors or with a view but weren't able to get one. Windows were next to neighbour building's wall.
Breakfast was good.

Danesfield House is a delight. The staff were all super helpful and welcoming. Dinner on the Terrace was stunning on a warm spring evening. The grounds are wonderful and I'd recommend a wander around them. And the spa facilities included in the room price was a bonus - the sauna and steam room especially. ...

Easy check in, staff were super helpful. Room was a great size, clean and nice and bright. Struggled to get the app to connect to my Expedia booking to control all the mod-cons but it wasn't critical - I could still use the TV remote the old fashioned way! Really enjoyed our stay here as an overnight ...
