”Whilst the staff and facilities were good, I was disappointed with the food. I had the coronation chicken terrine starter.which had a large piece of chicken skin in it. The staff offered me a replacement which I declined and they did not charmed for it. I later asked if I could have fresh fruit for dessert which the said would be available for breakfast. At breakfast the only fresh fruit available was watermelon. I may be picky but I feel that these minor items should be catered for.”

”Great location for is, we stayed last year, some of the Pennine equipment is old, both our TV and iron were broken when we arrived, but the staff were very prompt in exchanging both items”

”Excellent location in central Reading. Rooms are clean and modernized with functional air conditioning, which was needed in the hot summer. There was noise from upstairs but staff helpfully gave me a complimentary upgrade into a nicer room. Room rate was very reasonable. Would definitely visit Garner again!”
