”Friendly staff that couldn’t do enough to accommodate. I stayed while working nightshifts and they would organise to service the room outside of normal hours always checking if I needed towels tea coffee etc. I have stayed multiple times and will definitely stay again ”

”Excellent team including Mandy on reception who explained we’d booked a room in The Grange (separate building), when we asked she offered an upgrade for a small extra fee, to the main house and showed us her favourite room (gorgeous view of park & ducks behind). Sanya in the restaurant was excellent- food was superb too. Advil at breakfast was great. Lovely comfortable room. Very happy. Thanks team! ”

Ikävä kyllä hotellilla taisi olla vaikeuksia rekrytoinneissa, sillä esim. aamiaisella lähes kaikki henkilökunta näytti teini-ikäisiltä kesätyöntekijöiltä, ja check-outissa oli pitkä jono. Kaikki tekivät varmasti parhaansa mutta tämäntasoisessa paikassa pieni sähläys oli kauneusvirhe muuten erinomaisessa kokonaisuudessa. ”

”If you are looking for a low-budget stay or for some other reason don´t want to spend too much money for the place you sleep in, I would recommend this hotel. Nice 10 minute walking distance to Reading city centre.”

”I had an okay stay, it was only a one night. The room was clean. The building itself is very old so that can be seen in the corridors and public spaces, and the location of the hotel is not the best as you need a cab to go basically anywhere. In total I give 3/5.”

”Absolutely outstanding! We came on a busy Valentine's weekend, but all the staff were super-helpful and the whole place buzzed with efficient excitement! We had a speedy check-in and enjoyed a scrumptious afternoon tea (very highly recommended.) Then we had drinks by the fire-pit. Romantic! Our room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. And breakfast in the morning was great, with more brilliant service. A truly memorable stay!”
