”I have stayed at this location several times and found the staff to be exceptional. Food quality was good and we enjoyed drinks from the bar. The only issue is the public parking which I found confusing to my expense. The manager as well as Kelly and Sahar were helpful and friendly.”

”This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting. The hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. There is ample seating outside which is great on a summers day,The grounds are kept beautifully. The hotel is an old building, unfortunately no air conditioning in the bedrooms due to the age of the hotel, but fans were provided, as we visited on the hottest day of the year. ”The Grange 2 building should not be opened for guests during a heatwave. Before arriving I asked if they had fans/air con and I was told there would be fans in each room. We had no fan. When I called reception they seemed very frantic and said there were no additional fans to give. We had no windows either, we had a door but being on the ground floor facing the car park a lot of people were walking past the room. It was very stuffy and unpleasant. ”I had an okay stay, it was only a one night. The room was clean. The building itself is very old so that can be seen in the corridors and public spaces, and the location of the hotel is not the best as you need a cab to go basically anywhere. In total I give 3/5.”

”This is my hometown and I was visiting from Canada. Lovely room nice and clean. I ended up with an accessible room which was lovely but no drawers or cupboard to store clothes which was a bit odd. Front desk staff awesome and friendly lots of tea and coffee for the room The one gentleman in the restaurant made my stay with giving me ice and being so chipper they breakfasts are a fantastic deal I’ll be back Please consider placing fridges in the room! That was the only annoyance”

”I have stayed here before but always had a room overlooking the car park. This time I was on the other side and unfortunately the constant road noise did not make for a good nights sleep. The telly was also not working in the room but by the time I noticed I was already ready for bed so left it until the morning to let staff know.”

”This place feels like an odd mix — some aspects feel like a hip boutique hotel while others seem a bit “budget.” There is no actual lobby or dedicated hotel staff in the evening, so you collect your key from the large bar on the ground floor. The rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed (eg, nice bathroom fixtures, Nespresso machine in room), though quite dark. Good location in historic city centre. Nice touches like a refrigerator on the corridor that has bottles of cold filtered water.”

”Comfortable bed, friendly greetings on arrival, clean kitchen area and lots to offer for breakfast. Fridge in the room which is quiet unlike some places! Hairdryer, kettle and provisions in the room, plenty of plugs, touch bedside lamps, big TV screen, mirror, table and chairs sitting area by the window. Separate Shower rooms compact but very clean.”

Itse rakennus on kiehtovan muotoinen, joka tekee siitä erilaisen moniin "laatikkohotelleihin" verrattuna. Alueella kauniita, vanhoja rakennuksia. Hotelli suositteli lähistöllä olevaa isoa pubia, josta sai kunnollisen päivällisen. ”
