”The best part of the trip was the cable car to the hotel, said our 3- and 5-year old boys :) So silent up there at the hotel, perfect views, friendly staff, nice room, balcony with lake/mountain views..and a bonus was the little kittens and hens :) I wish we had stayed longer than just 2 nights! Only negative thing was the food in the restaurant, too expensive for that quality.”

”We stayed three nights at Il Porticciolo and found it very charming and cosy. Location right on the lake-front is fabulous and you can admire the scenery from your own balcony or the beautiful breakfast/dinner terrace. I'll remember nights on the balcony admiring the lights across the lake. Service was friendly and impeccable and the room very comfortable, I would definitely recommend this hotel. ”Ihana, hieman "vanha", Hercule Poirot estetiikkaa edustava hotelli, jossa kaunis allasosasto ja upea puutarha. Ravintola oli hyvä ja palvelu erinomaista, niin siellä kuin koko hotellissa. Lapsiystävällinen vaikkei kuitenkaan lapsiperheille tarkoitettu. Meillä oli huone järven suuntaan. ”

”Stylish classic style hotel. Polite and good service by a older gentleman in the lobby. We had a room from the upper floor with a view over the lake. The room was perfect, comfortable bed, large bathroom and a small balcony. The view over the lake is spectacular. Parking is a bit difficult, the hotel does not have it's own parking spaces. A few parking garages nearby, but the ramps were so steep our car could not get up. ”
”Apartment was huge but felt the space could have been configured a bit better e.g. with a kitchenette or more comfy living area. View was amazing (just be aware that the picture shown is when the trees were very young/ had no leaves and they now cover the lake view). Breakfast was nice. Cleaning was good but would have liked the bed linen to be changed - we stayed for 5 nights and it was not changed.”

”Beautiful ole hotel, with charming interior and feeling of a time-travel. The hotel really is worth a visit but is maybe in need of slight upgrade. We went there in November, and the off-season timing gave our visit an additional plus: everything was quiet apart from some sounds of renovation. The hotel might not be perfectly comfortable, but it’s something you will remember. ”
