One of the many otherworldly spots at Death Valley National Park! I am just glad I visited on an early December day ;). I cannot imagine the heat right now ;). Nevertheless it always looks incredible.
Stopped for the night in Death Valley. I have a friend who is a ranger here during the week, and lives in Boulder City on the weekends. It was beautiful, in an alien way, and so very, very hot.

Sometimes the moon works in your favor. Twenty mule team wagon at the Borax mines in Death Valley is lit by the light of the moon. The place was spotless, and the home cooked breakfast from Sunny was absolutely delicious. Such a warm and welcoming stay. We would definitely come back again.
