Bay Cottage is very conveniently situated in the tiny hamlet of Charleston, overlooking the bay and opposite Gairloch harbour. There is a thriving local inn just 1/4 mile from the cottage. It is also just a short walk to the harbour. Along the pier there are a selection of small shops, a cafe and post office. There are a number of excellent sea and wildlife boat trips that can be booked from the harbour, as well as sea fishing trips and excursions in a glass bottom boat.
