Fantastic hotel. Very close to the train station, so no need to drag your bags for miles and just a few minutes walk to the town center, shops and restaurants. Super clean and comfortable.

My choice home away from home in GP
Comfortable room and hotel, friendly and helpful staff and owners. Very close to the bus and train stations. I ended up extending my stay to visit more sights nearby.

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights and booked 2 different styles of rooms for our stay. They were both very spacious and accommodated all of our needs for ski gear, comfy sleeping arrangements, were well appointed, and decorated nicely. The staff including the owners Michael and Marianne were very hospitable and would hang out when things were slow. The Breakfast buffet had a variety of traditional German eats and was more than adequate. The cozy bar area was our favorite hangout after returning from skiing the Garmisch Classic slopes all day. You are a 2.3km drive from the Hausberg parking lot so the location is very convenient for winter skiing. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a place with history and style.

We booked Reindl's Partenkichner Hof as we have visited the Garmisch Partenkirchen area manny times before when we were stationed in Germany during our military careers. This was our first stay at Reindl's and it will not be our last. We were very pleased with the accommodations, the location and most of all the Customer Service. The owners are very attentive to the needs of the lodgers, and it shows as the staff is just as helpful. The breakfast is traditional German and my wife and I enjoyed that a lot. Good food! We are planning a trip back within a year or two and we plan on staying here, it feels like home. One thing thought, parking is available in the covered garage, but if you have a van it takes some geometry to park it. Regular size vehicles, not problem. Looking forward to another visit. The hotel was located in a nice area close to both Garmisch and Partenkirchen walking areas. The bahnhof was also very close. The hotel staff was helpful and friendly.

Anrikt - men också därför gammalt. Dåligt med hissar, svårt att hitta i hotellet (!). Hyfsad frukost, utmärkt wellness med träningsredskap bastu och pool. Dålig stämning bland personalen. Bra läge, bra garage. Vissa rum OK, men de största är från 1800-talet. Städningen obefintlig.

Slitet hotell som har sett sina bästa dagar
Slitet hotell som har sett sina bästa dagar för länge sedan. Rummen saknade t.ex. saker som duschtvål hela vistelsen och städningen tog inte ens bort flugor och annat som låg synligt på marken. Hotellet består till största delen av gångar som hålls nedsläckta om man inte själv tänder dem vilket ger en lite spöklik stämning. Rörelsedetektorer för ljus fanns dock i badrummen, men fungerade inte genom glasväggar så det blev kolsvart när man stod i duschen flera gånger vilket kändes rätt farligt. Frukosten var helt okej, men restarurangen verkade de ha stängt då den var igenbommad och nedsläckt under hela veckan. Oproffsig och otrevlig management team i diskussioner men trevig personal i övrigt.

Reindls lebt von der Vergangenheit. Es ist auf kein en Fall ein 4-Stern Hotel. Personal spricht kein Deutsch. Unser Zimmer war zur Strasse, sehr laut. Das Bad war sehr klein. Wir sind 76 und 79. Mussten mühsam in die Wanne steigen, um zu duschen. Frühstück akzeptabel, obwohl der Obstsalat und die Frischwurst nicht sehr appetitlich aussahen.

Vielen Dank für Ihren Besuch und Ihre Information. Sie haben ein Standard Zimmer mit Straßenkontakt gebucht. Ab der Kategorie Deluxe Zimmer sind alle Zimmer sehr schön ruhig zu unserem Garten gelegen. Da Sie keinen Wunsch nach einem Zimmer mit Dusche geäußert haben, sowie wir keine Mitteilung über das Alter der Gäste erhalten, können wir im Vorfeld leider nicht reagieren. Auch während Ihres Aufenthaltes hatten Sie dies nicht erwähnt, sonst hätten wir uns bemüht Sie in ein Zimmer mit Dusche umzuziehen. Wie Sie wissen, haben wir uns sehr bemüht Ihre Wünsche schnell zu erfüllen, sei es mit den Bergbahnkarten oder Ihrem Föhn. Unsere freundlichen jungen Servicemitarbeiter beim Frühstück kommen aus Argentinien und sprechen wenig Deutsch, in allen anderen Bereichen wird Deutsch, oder auch Bayrisch gesprochen und wir konnten uns gut mit Ihnen verständigen.

Das Hotel kann ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Es ist gut gelegen und fußläufig vom Bahnhof aus erreichbar. Sehr freundliches Personal! Die Einrichtung ist bewusst etwas urig gehalten, was natürlich den Charme ausmacht und auch schön ist. Mein Zimmer war gemütlich und mit kleinem Balkon und ganz guter Aussicht. Beim Frühstück hat auch alles gepasst. Wer mag, bekommt auch frisch Omelette oder Rührei zubereitet.

Great Room, Friendly Staff
I stayed here with my son for a weekend of skiing. Location was good for us although a little bit of a walk to eating locations (maybe 10 minutes walk in either direction). There is a ski bus to Garmisch nearby but we just opted to drive (parking at Garmisch was 5EUR and it saved us probably 15 minutes there and 30 minutes back). Zugspitze was about a 15 minute drive and much better snow conditions My son enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna (I preferred the hot tub). Breakfast was typical German continental style; would have been nice to have flax seed or similar to add to the yogurt. Would stay again.

A great historic property. They initially put us in a room shown on Expedia as a significantly less expensive than the room we booked. We requested the proper room and after some murmuring about equivalent rooms they put us in the room shown that we booked. It was a vast improvement on which we had splurged when booking. Make sure you get the room you booked. The sauna was very nice, but the hot tub and indoor pool were quite cold.

Very outdated and certainly not a 4 star venue. After being transferred to the more “bayrisch” room things improved a little bit but overall very disappointing.
