”The billiards room was excellent!”

”This was a nice wayside hotel for a night or two. The young lady at the front counter who checked us in was very pleasant and friendly. She even offered to help us carry our luggage from our car into the hotel. Now that's great service! It rained heavily one night and a lake formed on the north side of the parking area. We had to wait a few hours for the water to subside in order to recover our car. The parking area is shared by a few businesses, and unfortunately, there are large lorries that...

”Great Staff, fantastic food, Very clean rooms and a very warm welcome. would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. loved the open fire for a cosy drink and chat.”

”Hintaansa nähden ok paikka yöpyä. Vuode oli riittävän kokoinen kahdelle, kylpyhuone todella pieni, eikä siinä juuri ollut yksityisyyttä, mutta siihen osasimme varautua. Parkkitilaa löytyi ja sijainti hyvä, valtatien varrella, kun teimme autolla retkiä ja kävimme majapaikassa vain nukkumassa. Todella mukava henkilökunta.”

”Staff was friendly and overall experience very nice. It was me with two teenagers and private room. Very basic, just as described. The shower was the only minus, because as it was attached to the roof, it was very difficult to wash downstairs. Good place to stay when viditing around Scotland. Would go again! Hotels.com says you can pay arriving but that is not the case. I got a message from hostel that i need to pay forward.”

”Nice place, great location, and wonderful staff. No wifi in rooms and food was expensive. Should have offered a food discount for broken wifi.”

”Check in was great. The hotel is beautiful and great location. But our toilet didn’t work and when I called I was told that the maintenance guy was on holiday. With no resolution offered until I insisted that we really needed a working toilet. Then we were moved to another room and the rest of the stay was great. It was just a bit off putting that it sounded like we were expected to be fine with a non working bathroom”

”Decent size car park. Good food menu with wide choice. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Location good for Falkirk attractions and town centre. Pleasant staff. We booked a basic room but there was no shelf in the en-suite to put your bathroom bits and pieces on. There was only one chair but we chose a basic room to keep costs down. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.”

”The hotel was super as usual. The menu in the restaurant however was limited. I would have liked to see a cold option in this heat wave. I did have to phone down to reception at 01:30 due to a party going on in a room next door. It was however dealt with swiftly and this was outwith the hotels control. Room was clean, good selection of tea's in the room with nice biscuits and hot chocolate too. Staff were professional and helpful.”

”A nice place. A bit worn but solid and clean. No hair conditioner so bring your own! You had to make a reservation for the breakfast buffet and if not you have to walk 5 minutes to get a coffee and muffin in the pool cafe. Overall fine”
