”The property is spacious, beautifully decorated and in a peaceful, rural setting. Beds were super comfy and the owners were on hand, not that we needed them, the place has everything you need and more. Its situated a short drive from plenty of pubs restaurants and lovely forest walks. The listing said there was a pub within a mile, I must have missed it but its only a couple of miles from Dalbeattie. Would definitely stay again.”

”The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!”

”Big house and garden ideal for our extended family holiday. Comfy beds, large open plan kitchen and cosy lounge. Kids loved the garden and the fire pit. Area is so quiet we barely saw another person or car although red deer come through the garden sometimes! And what a view from the front of the house! Area is great for cycling, Kiroughtree (7stanes) is 1/2 hour drive and Big Water of Fleet viaduct is a nice drive / cycle. ”

”Cosy, well equipped cottage with a lovely view. Our elderly parents loved that they didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy the beach and they could get out for easy walks. With amenities just a few minutes drive away and local to wildlife viewing options this worked well for us. None of us were keen to leave.”

”Lovely cottage with loads of room for the family, in a very peaceful location with lots of wilderness to explore right on the doorstep. Owners are lovely and very helpful. Will definitely be back to what is a very relaxing and refreshing place for a break.”
