The hotel was so full of history with an excellent locations. Excellent service on all areas. Thus will be my favorite hotel when visiting Glasgow. However, the age of the hotel can be seen.

A very nice hotel right by the Glasgow Centre Train station. Friendly staff and clean room. Our room is larger than expected, although the bathroom is very narrow. The complimentary water is a very nice touch! We enjoyed our stay here!

Couldn’t get a closer hotel to station. Rooms extra large and great distance to everything in city central.

The shower in my room was a real issue and I do not want to stay in that style room again. The shower leaked water into the hallway, it was a rain style shower in the middle of bathtub, which was a surprise and hard for me since I have balance issues [it also had high walls for the tub]. Had I known that was the case I would not have stayed in that room at all. I was disappointed and it detracted from my stay.

The vastness of the architecture and old grandeur of the hotel was spectacular. We loved the champagne bar and 100 foot tall chandelier.

The hotel itself was nice, clean, and the staff was excellent! If I were staying in the city center, I would stay there again; although I would probably pick a less crowded area in the future. But the hotel stay was nice.

Great view of Glasgow and central station from our room. The room and bathroom was stylish and comfortable. Overall the hotel is lovely with lots of nice touches and nothing left to require. We were disappointed in the eating options and the menu didnt suit us so we would stay here again happily but eat elsewhere!

The old style is great and rooms and beds are very comferable. Roomtemperature should have been set at 19 instead of 23 degrees to save on costly energy.

Only there overnight , very quiet but woken early by ongoing roadworks . Lovely room , comfortable bed , adequate shower. Very convenient for shops , restaurants & bars

I initially picked this hotel, due it being located in Central Station, which made it very easy to get to the Hydro and the shops. The hotel was fabulous. Right from check in, until we picked up our bags (they stored them for us while we wnt shopping) i cannot fault anything. The staff were all very pleasant, helpful and couldnt do enough for us. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Beds were extremely comfy and i loved that there was a safe, iron and ironing board. The chandelier is spectacular and a wonderful centrepiece for this hotel. We will definitely be back.

Attached the to the train station, convenient parking at garage. Staff is very pleasant and knowledgable. Breakfast was great every morning. Streets were a bit dirty and saw a few degens outside, but they never bothered us. Overall, great stay. Would recommend.

Fully renovated, retaining old world charm, rooms and facilities excellent, breakfast catered to all tastes and diets, price reasonable — especially when considering its excellent location in the city. Staff courteous and efficient. Glasgow throbs with party-minded folk on weekends, though they do not appear to intrude on guests seeking a quiet hotel stay. Voco Grand Central Hotel has much to offer.

Few odd things in our stay - the suite room had no chest of drawers for storing clothes, nor did it have a desk (so the kettle was difficult to use as the plugs were high up the wall). Breakfast was very busy with not enough staff serving, so took a long time to get through. Food quality was good. They offer late check out on Sunday (midday) but the room keys stop working at 11, and with only one lift working this added a big delay to check out. Location is great but would look to stay somewhere else next time we visit.

Central located great hotel but with ages shown
Great traditional hotel, centrally located right next to the Glasgow central Station. The hotel is absolutely huge, very clean, rooms in good condition. But the hotel also has a history of more than 150 years. So some common area is tired. In general a great place to explore Glasgow city.
