”All felt very dated. Walls and floors all paper thin, could hear everything from folks waking at 6am, with the addition of construction work right outside the window at 7:30am. Rooms, whilst clean, were basic and tired, and far too warm with no ability to adjust temperature. Pay and display parking (with no guest discount) is a bit odd too. Not sure what grants this a 4*, but it certainly isn’t. Get what you pay for. ”

”Everything about our stay was perfect, food was excellent and use of the spa is well worth it. We were upgraded without requesting it (never ever asked before) the room was stunning. The only downside was that we were directly above the kitchen, and there was constant banging coming from the kitchen. When i asked, apparently it was the water pipes when the dishwasher was in use. Didn't really affect us, as we were hardly in our room, but i could imagine you wanted a relaxing time in your room...

”A nice friendly farm B and B. I was in the anex which was a 1st floor room with the bath room below. It had a whirlpool bath. I found everything clean and usable. It had a small cupboard style kitchenette which was nice with a sink element and plates, cups and cutlery with tea and coffee. The breakfast was in the main farm house next door which was nice and cooked to order by the host who was very helpful and polite. All in all I would use this accommodation again. Thanks ”

”The location was great and the area quiet. Convenient to train and bus, grocery, and local interests. Property was ok in cleanliness (white grout and subway tile require a LOT of maintenance) and the modern updates were poorly installed. Far too many bric-a-brac to keep dusted. Comfortable and spacious. ”

”Location is perfect, merely a 5 minute walk and you are in Cheltenham centre right by the brewery quarter, plenty of choice for food all within minutes of the apartment. The gentleman that checked us in on reception was so friendly and informative. The suite was the Milano, it was spacious and clean but the only complaint was it could do with a little maintenance. Handles missing off the drawers in the bedroom, towel pegs hanging out of the doors, no remote for the TV in the bedroom, main TV...

”For me, the main reason to stay in a hotel is to get sleep which requires a comfy bed, darkness and quiet. Unfortunately here the windows are very old sash style windows which are not double glazed and have lots of gaps. There were several broken locks and handles indicating they know this is an issue. Previous occupants have also tried with bits of cardboard jammed in the window and toilet paper in the window vent which was broken and open to the elements. In summary on the window, you can...
