”The location is very nice on a small clean lake. The deck overlooking the lake is the best feature of the cabin. The kitchen counter space is tiny and made meal prep for a group of 5 women difficult. The gas grill should have a cover to protect it from the rain and the automatic starter did not work. We did find a lighter to start it. The bathroom is very far from the bedrooms which are upstairs which was an issue for some of us at night. Also we needed to use the sleeper sofas in the living...

”So much love and attention to detail went into this property. We enjoyed our cozy stay in the off the grid cottage, we enjoyed the pavilion where they had games set up , cute spot to enjoy some charcuterie and wine, overlooking the pond , we are already planning our next stay.”

”The stay was peaceful and fun. A rustic cottage with just the right modern amenities. WiFi was good. The outdoor space was well maintained and we enjoyed eating on the patio. Simo created a detailed wonderful guidebook to the area. And there are a lot of loving details that say this is a special place.”

”Wonderful location overlooking lake. Almost everything one could need is there, only recommendation would be to have iron and ironing board in the cottage. Otherwise 5* plus excellent communication from owner. Even the cleaner was lovely. Highly recommended property.”

”I had a last minute family emergency and needed a place to stay, quick! This Caroga Lake location was available and it worked out wonderfully. The location was great and the size was perfect. Communication with the host was wonderful. I accidentally locked myself out (whoops 😂) and the issue was resolved within a reasonable time. Would definitely stay here again”
