”Lovely and good value family run pub and guesthouse. Clean and homely room with everything you need. Lots of food options for dinner and a well stocked bar. The pub was busy but closed and early enough not to disturb me sleeping. Staff friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and a reasonable £10 for a full English. I'd happily stay here again. ”

”I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! We ate in the restaurant one evening which was very good. The peacocks were amusing,...
