”The property was a little dated, but perfect for what we needed - quiet location with a nice little balcony to sit out on in the morning with a coffee and to watch the sunrise! Great breakfast also.”

”An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

”Pros - Free Parking - Near Centre - Swimming Pool - Shower Pressure - Radiator in the Room Cons - Booked 2 x twin rooms but only gave one key card. When we asked and received the second card it blocked access for the original card. This happened for both rooms we booked. - We stayed 4 nights, it's frustrating that you have to request cleaning by 10am for the following day. - When cleaning was requested, they made the bed but did not clean the bathroom or replace the towels. ”We had the attic room and it's very spacious. The bedroom has a huge bed that is not too soft and we slept like the dead. Dual aspect with sky lights. Fan and extra soft cuddly blankets if needed. Hairdryer, ironing board, iron and microwave. However, the fridge was the reason I booked. A seating area where you can chill without a TV on and a small book shelf with a wide variety of books. We were very pleasantly surprised. Lindsay, the owner is a lovely fellow and you could just stop and talk...

”We had a lovely stay at China Fleet Club. The staff were professional, friendly, and always happy to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well presented. Unfortunately, we had no hot water when we arrived, but after reporting the issue it was fixed within about an hour, which we appreciated. I also had a massage during our stay, and Emma was wonderful – very professional and made the experience incredibly relaxing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would happily return.”

”Excellent staff, ideal location in the heart of Fowey with waterside terrace. No parking but that was to be expected. The main car park up the steep hill about 10 minutes walk. A shuttle bus service operates to and from the car park from 10am. Pick up in the town by the church, 2 minutes walk from the hotel.”

Have a pool with a bonus as the weather was quite warm and Amy the girl looking after the pool was very attentive, as we didn’t have any towels left in the room and she provided them and always seem to be cleaning up and tidying in the spa area. Breakfast was well stocked and in a delightful dining room and again the staff were very attentive. Tom who looked after us on our arrival was extremely polite and very informative....
