”I am shocked at how high of stars this hotel had when it is average at best. The hotel is a whole complex which was difficult to navigate and even find the hotel. It is on a beautiful property, but the beds feel like you’re laying on cheap plastic and the breakfast is disappointing. (No waffle maker, which is always what I’m looking for at hotel breakfast). Overall it was a fine overnight but certainly does not deserve the excellent rating listed. Okay at best”

”Motels as they should be! The classic motor hotel was built as a drive-up. Park car near room. Empty contents to room. Sleep. Load stuff back in car. Travel on. No long, dreary hallways as in most modern hotels. They don't build new lodging this way for a reason: land is expensive. Roofing is expensive. So, you enter, wait for the elevator ride, walk down that long, dark hallway to your room. We're used to it, but it's a hassle compared to this NICE PLACE which has been restored and modernized....

”Toilet wouldn't flush properly. Reported it. Wasn't fixed when we returned. Moved rooms,key wouldn't open door. Toilets are so short..must have been surplus from a grade school. Shower had 2 containers of shampoo. No rinse. Small bar of soap. Breakfast was decent.”

”Very disappointing stay. The hotel is extremely outdated and in desperate need of renovations. The rooms felt old, the furniture was worn, and the overall property did not match the expectations set online. It wasn’t as clean or well-maintained as I had hoped. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.”

”The breakfast is good, the staff are very nice and helpful. The bed is very comfortable and the place is very clean. It's in a good location, near many restaurants. Our only complaint is the bathroom needs updating, it's not very bright, and just needs freshing up. The bed is comfortable, however the sheets, bedspread don't come all of the way up to your chin, somehow tucked in very tight at bottom of bed, (I tend to sleep with my head under the covers} and also could use some different...

”We have stayed at several towneplace locations but this one is in need of serious updates and repair. The microwave was dirty. The fridge door wouldn’t close unless you slammed it because it got caught on the counter. There was also mold in the microwave and the utensil drawer fell apart in my hand. The bathroom was old and had a tub with very old fixtures although the shower head was good. The food at breakfast was pretty lousy and while there were bagels and toast there was no butter or peanut...

”Starting with the cons: I booked an upgraded and larger corner room that was great…until it wasn’t. I found out that we had NO COLD WATER while I was IN THE SHOWER!!! We ended up having to wait quite a while for someone to come up and take a look at the situation. Eventually, we had to switch to a smaller regular room. The pool was one of the reasons I decided to book at this hotel. My kid was really excited about swimming but we discovered that the POOL WAS CLOSED for “maintenance”. Turns out...
