Goosey Hotellit

”This rambling old place has a lot of character, and some eccentricities. I have stayed here several times and never had a reason to complain. I am an elderly woman travelling alone and would not keep coming back if my rooms were not clean and very comfortable. The staff are always friendly and most helpful. There is only limited parking but as yet I've had no problem - I understand that there is a public car park nearby, and also roadside parking is not difficult. A glass of wine beside the open...

”Beautiful grounds and garden. Helpful staff. Comfortable room and bed, tasty breakfast. Only complaint, the front entrance is locked a little early for a Saturday evening, took 2 calls to get the entrance opened. But would recommend.”

”HVAC was quiet.”

”Really nice hotel”

”Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed.”

”Clean comfortable room.Staff helpful and welcoming.Service at breakfast and dinner excellent. Good menu and food delicious.Would recommend for a relaxing break in the country.”

”Easy to park”

”Great hotel, delicious food and very peaceful and quiet location with excellent parking!”

We were not told upon arrival what time breakfast was served no letter no notes inside the room about breakfast and assuming that it still continues on till 11am. I understand we could have asked but getting told by the manager there was an opportunity to ask left me feeling like it was my fault when it is your job to inform people and give good customer service. There was no opportunity...
