”Hieno hotelli ja hyvä valinta mikäli ei halua turistirysää Cobacabanan varrelta. Ei ehkä rantalomalaisen valinta, koska lahden vesistö oli likaista. Mutta aivan parhaat maisemat katolla olevalta uima-altaalta, sekä huoneen parvekkeelta. Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja palvelevaa. Osasivat englantia tarpeeksi hyvin. Pienet epäkohdat korjattiin nopeasti kun niistä ilmoitti. Hotellin palvelut olivat kohtuuhintaisia, joten pesulaa yms pystyi hyvin käyttämään. Ruoka oli hyvää....

”This is a 3 star hotel, not the 4. Hallway cleanliness was below 4 star expectations. Our shower had black mold in the grout. Mold was also where we had to hang the towels on the hooks on the wall. Breakfast was ok, too many breads that taste the same, eggs were below average. Only fruit and yogurt saved breakfast. Pool - grout had mold, so I did not even swim. Beds we comfortable and clean sheets we changed daily. That was good. Location is good, beach is close.”

"We had luxury room with sea view on 23rd floor and the view was truly magnificient. Room was a bit outdated, but the hotel is under renovation. Rio Othon Palace is the highest building on Copacabana and the view from the rooftop is amazing. Sunbeds and the pool were spot on. I assume it was due to the renovation that we had quite private breakfast on the 30th floor as luxury room guests - I loved the peaceful atmosphere there and the views - again. And it was also a bonus to have a special check-in and check-out in a separate lobby lounge. Hotel guests have access to beach chairs and umbrellas near the hotel. There was a nice beach restaurant also. If I ever return to Rio de Janeiro, I will definately choose Rio Othon Palace again."
