”My overall impression of this property is excellent with the exception of the basement bedroom. This tiled floor needs to be cleaned a bit better. Bathrooms were very clean and kitchen as well. Our beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. We all liked how large the house was. Its a shame that the yard looked so unkept. I wanted so bad to get in there and trim those shrubs and clean the beds. I hate to complain but to me thats a part of the overall experience of staying somewhere is the...

”We really enjoyed our stay at The Pines in Christmas, MI! It was the perfect cozy overnight stop on our trip across the UP. We only wished we could’ve stayed longer but our itinerary didn’t allow it— but we’ll be sure to come back and book this place again! It was a great set up for our family and we particularly enjoyed the living area for late night conversations, coffee (provided by host!) and breakfast at the kitchen table, and the scenic lake views with true fall colors! ”
