It's a short walk to Hertel Ave which has a bunch of shopping and restaurant options. The host was friendly, accommodating, and very easy to work with. I'd highly recommend it and would totally book this again if I was in the area.”

”Perfect for a short stay. Kids slept on the fold-out couchbed, and could easily run out and play on the sand. It's right there! A great view. And very easy to walk to the Canal Park restaurants for dinner/ice cream.”

”Convenient to everything, we walked everywhere. Could walk to Baldhead and Lake Michigan except the chain ferry was closed for the season. GPS directs you to stop on Holland but turn onto Lucy and there is the parking. Too many great places to eat but certainly do breakfast At Ida Red. Very clean cottage with nice decor. The problems were minimal but here they are. My wife struggled with door keypad and pulling door closed so lock would unlock. Entryway has a step up and bath has a step up....

”This is a beautiful condo in the heart of Oak Park that has everything you need and is steps away from dinning, shopping and entertainment. If you do long for anything, the host, Michael, is super responsive. We would stay again and again!”

”Husband/wife/teen needed a place for a weekend stay near Northwestern. The teen slept on the couch and was comfortable. Street parking was never a problem. It IS a basement property and you can expect some noise from neighbors above, but it wasn’t overly intrusive during our stay. Host very responsive and accessible. Worked out great for our needs.”

”Location costs, but the so called historic wing is just old and seen it’s best with paint coming off from door frames. No noise cancellation from the corridor. Bed was nice and comfortable. Check in was not a pleasant experience, no smiles or warmth and definitely not listening/ receiving mode from the guest. May be just East coast style.”
