If you are looking to experience Santorini but avoid the crowds this hotel is for you! It is gorgeous, has amazing sunset views, a helpful staff, and is very close to the bus stop to explore other parts of the island! I really enjoyed my time here!

la locacion excelente, pero varios problemas dentro de la habitacion. el shower muy pequeño y abierto, asi que todo el piso del baño se moja como si fuera dentro del shower. por alguna razon el ruido de las otras habitaciones es infernal, es como si tuvieras a las personas de las otras habitaciones dentro de tu habitacion. pude dormir desde las 11pm que todos los de las demas habitaciones se durmieran hasta las 6am que las otras habitaciones se despertaban. el servicio en general fue muy bueno, sobre todo cuando hicimos check in a la 1am y llamando a un numero de tlfn, llego alguien y nos hizo check in. en general no esta mal, solo que hay cosas que deberian estar mejor y no creo que se puedan mejorar, el baño y los ruidos no son cosas que se puedan cambiar en este caso

Absolutely great place to stay, my mom and I had a great time. The view from this hotel is amazing. And the breakfast was delicious. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend!!

the best place for my stay in Santorini. From the moment you arrive they serve you like a queen. the super special service. Breakfast in the room, beautiful clean room. the spectacular view. the pool in a beautiful location to watch the sunset. The truth is that I would return whenever I went to Santorini. In love with this hotel and the people who work there. Beautiful facilities, super safe to walk alone or in a group.

We loved staying here in november 2023. Paul and Alex made us feel so welcome and we loved our daily chats. The location was quiet. The breakfast everyday served to you directly in the room was something we really looked forward to each morning! The only thing that would need improvement is the comfort of the bed. The hotel is located right along the hiking route to oia. If you have a chance, it is one of the best hikes ive ever done. Would be so thrilled to return to Santorini and stay here!

Friendly staff. Hotel and rooms were clean. The hotel has ocean views from both sides of the property. Breakfast was delivered to the room every morning. The hotel is near a public bus stop, restaurants, and mini markets. We would stay here again.

We had an amazingly six day stay at Abelonas Retreat. It was perfect to stay somewhere with such a beautiful view but not in the busy part of town. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Alex was always on hand to help us out and recommend the best places to see and eat. Breakfasts were fresh and cooked to how you wanted it and their was a big choice to set you up fo the day. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a very good value place to stay

The hotel is nice, with comfortable rooms and a small pool. The staff were excellent and helpful arranging transfers and making restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was very good. Imeroviglia is quiet for santorini with terrific caldera views. I found the path in that area to be more stairs than i prefer. I have stayed in Firostefani on other trips and prefer it for getting around to other parts of the island.

Beautiful Property in a Great Location
This is a beautiful property in a peaceful location in Imerovigli, about a 20 minute walk from the bustle of Thira. We enjoyed the sunset from the rooftop patio and did not have to battle the crowds in town or worry about booking a restaurant with a view. A delicious breakfast is made to order each day according to your selections and served at your room's patio (ours overlooked vineyards and sunrise!) Our room was spotless and spacious. The manager (?) Paul is a wonderful host and provided great tips to enjoy the island.

Estuvimos en un apartamento muy agradable, iluminado, bien dotado y comodo. Paulo y Alex muy serviciables y amables. Nos dieron recomendaciones muy utiles y siempre estaban dispuestos a solucionarnos cualquier inquietud. El desayuno muy completo y delicioso. El hotel esta a 30 minutos caminando de Fira y a 30 minutos en taxi o carro de Oia. Muy recomendado!!!

Incredible hotel, a must stay if you come to Santorini. We had a room with a view of the sea at every angle, breakfast served fresh every morning, and super reasonably priced pickup from the port. Paul helped us get a rental car as well, and guided us to a great Catamaran tour. Superb service, views, and comfortable room!

We were welcomed so well by Paul and Alex, they made us feel at home right away. The property is in an amazing spot, beautifull sunsets and easy to walk to Fira. The breakfast is huge and great selection. Our room was super comfortable and great pool. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The room we had was just fabulous. Great view. We had a balcony and had breakfast in our balcony facing the water. It was just out of this world. Good restaurants nearby. Staff was very polite. Overall a positive experience. Will come again. We rented a car.

Only issue I had was that the hotel is located on a main boulevard so it is noisy at night and hard to sleep. Apart from that everything by else was outstanding!

Sixty in Santorini, what a treat.
Abelonas is a little gem! Perfectly situated near fantastic restaurants and just across the path that leads along the coast. Breakfast was amazing, served each morning to our balcony. Be sure to order the night before, for your preferred time, but don't worry if you forget, they will bring the same order you had the day before, with a big smile and a nice chat to go with it. We were there to celebrate my 60th birthday and our champagne breakfast was something very special! Staff were so friendly and could not have done more to ensure that we had a fantastic stay, managing to book us on a sunset cruise at short notice. Note that this is a small, friendly place, and NOT a 5 star luxury hotel with all mod cons - however, you have all you need, clean, tidy and very, very pretty. And to top it all, there is an incredible view from the verandah above the pool - no booking an expensive restaurant is required! We spent many evenings there, with a bottle of wine and some nibbles, just watching the sun go down. Perfect.

Amazing 2-night stay in Santorini!
A friend and I spent 2 nights at Abelonas Retreat and had a fabulous stay in a studio room with a caldera and sea view. Must recommend both views for stunning sunrise and sunsets. The service at the front desk was impeccable. They answered all our questions before and during arrival/stay; in addition to arranging transport to and from the port (a must!). The room was simple but just what we needed and the views were incredible. Breakfast on our terrace each morning was charming and romantic. Location was perfect - right off the caldera hike path and much less crowded than neighboring Oia or Fira. In addition, we were walking distance from a few shops and lovey tavernas. The front desk suggested Aroma Gefsis upon arrival (just a few steps away!) and we were treated like family. Our only complaint is that our stay wasn’t longer. Would definitely stay again!
