The location is gorgeous and the pools magnificent. The water park is surprisingly good given it is a hotel. I feel I should have used the pools even more but was so tempted by swimming in the bay that is essentially a part of the hotel. The fine dining should not be missed. The Greek restaurant has fantastic food. The Italian restaurant has great food and is in the most beautiful location of the hotel. The Asian one can be missed, though (so I hear).
The staff were really amazing. I particularly appreciated the front desk staff. Thank you Litsa, Melania, Jasmina and all others who names I don’t recall. It was great that all staff wore masks even if many of the guests weren’t outside. The hotel did a great job protecting from Covid.
My only complaint is that it seemed like they were trying to save money on the little things (probably because of Covid). This is reflected in air conditioning was purposely set low, we had to keep one room key in the slot to keep it going when we were out of the room; the gym’s AC was a disaster; they didn’t yet install elevators in my section of the hotel; the shampoo and soap was that of a budget hotel; I had to use the decaf coffee that I brought with me. I hope this will all be improved once they recover from the Covid shock.
Overall, I would highly recommend it, particularly for those seeking a week (or two) of sun and swimming in pool. It is a bit isolated so rent a car if you want to leave the hotel to explore Rhodes.
