5 star rating from me is a rare occasion as I am a little picky, but I rate this stay a 5 star. We stayed at this property from Oct 12-14 as we wanted to exit the busy streets of Oia and Fira. This is a gorgeous Hotel which has amazing and peaceful caldera view. Easy to find, simple check-in, Friendly staff, excellent room service and very accommodating. They have packed us a super early breakfast (4:30 am) due to our early morning flight. Highly recommend to stay here without any doubts in mind.

We had the absolute best stay here! The staff was OUTSTANDING! They went above and beyond and were so kind! It really made us feel at home. They gave us recommendations on things to try and we spent much time just getting to know them and the culture. The food at the restaurant attached was so good! The morning breakfasts were so nice! We even checked out in the early morning our last day and they made us a to go breakfast at 5 am. We couldn’t have asked for a better place, we will definitely be back!

Absolutely fabulous
This hotel was quite amazing, from the view which is breathtaking, to being absolutely spotless. The staff are some of the best we have come across anywhere in the world. Nothing was too much trouble and I am sure they don’t know the word no !

Unbeatable views of the caldera, without the crowds that you would have in Oia or in Thera. It is much easier to enjoy the setting in peace and silence compared to the more crowded tourist hotspots. The staff were both truly friendly and super helpful, the breakfast was great (variety and quality). The caldera view room was magical - you can see the lights in the distance from your bed and you wake up to the view of the blue skies and the villages up on the caldera's edge.

A little bit of heaven!
We’re a family of 4 adults and we loved everything about this place, a stunning setting, warm friendly staff and a lovely ambience. Dining at The Edge restaurant was an experience to remember and the wonderful array of food brought to our room for breakfast (pre-ordered the night before) was excellent too. The family suite with private pool was worth every penny, we just didn’t want to leave.

Excellent hotel. Nice and professional staff. The breakfast is amazing. Location is close to red, black, and white beaches. Far away from congestion traffic. Around 30 min drive to the other side of the island. The room is small but nice. Private pool outside the room was convenient. Great view outside the hotel.

Wir haben uns im Hotel Goulielmos sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Aussicht war einfach fantastisch und auch das Frühstück war das beste, das wir auf der ganzen Reise hatten. Das Servicepersonal ist super zuvorkommend und hat mit allen Fragen und Antworten ausgeholfen. Auch ein Willkommensgetränk haben wir erhalten, das sehr lecker war. Der Poolbereich war richtig toll und alles in allem echt schön. Auch das Zimmer war schön, jedoch nichts besonderes. Wir hatten sogar einen Balkon, das war echt klasse. Etwas enttäuscht waren wir von unserem Badezimmer. Wir hatten das günstigste Zimmer, daher ist es schon in Ordnung, allerdings sollte bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel das Badezimmer auch renoviert sein. Das Kabel des Föhns war an vielen Stellen aufgebrochen; die Dusche war komplett verkalkt; wir hatten Ameisen im Bad und die braunen Fließen wirken sehr altmodisch. Wir können das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen, würden das nächste Mal jedoch eines der teureren Zimmer mit privatem Pool wählen :)

Avoid this hotel like the Plague!!!
The hotels location is distant to anything- the room was like a garage- the restaurant was expensive at approx $150 Euros for two to have two bowls of rice and martinis- The staff basically laughed when I asked if we could split the total payment we had prepaid as I couldn’t stand wasting a trip To Greece on that place- we ended up not spending more than 2 hours there and moved to a new hotel- will NEVER GO BACK THERE- PATHETIC!

We are indeed in Akrotiri, a village most loved by our guests as a peaceful and quiet place that is near to all the nice and famous beaches of the island and also only 20 minutes away by car from the capital of Santorini Fira. I am sorry that you found our Restaurant expensive, we do try to offer the best quality of food options to our guests. I am assuming that you and your partner enjoyed your lunch choosing from our salad, appetizers and main courses menu that you accompanied with a few cocktails. Furthermore, we would like to remind you that your reservation was under a non-refundable policy that requires a full pre-payment which is not refundable in case of any cancellation. Excellent hotel with a great pool for relaxation. The rooms were modern with very good air conditioning. The food at restaurant was better than any restaurant in Fira (try the rib eye). The view of ocean was breathtaking and there is a bus stop in front of hotel for trips to Fira for 1.8 EU.

The best staff
We were greeted for check in with a deliciously chilled glass of fruit juice and were able to check in with their QR code online. Dimitra, the front desk manager, was efficient, knowledgeable and kind. She provided us with a map of the island and gave us a few suggestions for beaches and dinner. The breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had, their pancakes are delicious and so is the fruit plate and coffee. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We really were treated with so much kindness, as silver hotels.com members we even received a room upgrade without asking. We came back late to the hotel after dinner and Dimitra was working, the next morning she was working and even in the evening she was making sure the hotel was running smoothly!

Beautiful - but Cold Pool
Beautiful hotel in amazing Location. The view is the main draw here. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! The room was very nice, but the bathroom and some areas on the grounds smelled of sulphur. The pool and jacuzzi were ice cold, so unusable. Lovely pool area for sunning and taking in the view, but not for swimming. The hotel is far from town, so effort is required to go to dinner or activities. Bus stop close by though. Good service! Area gets a lot of wind gusts too

We are happy to know that you enjoyed the location, the spectacular caldera view and our delicious breakfast buffet! Kindly note that we are alarmed by your statement that you smelled sulphur in the room, because we never use this material during our cleaning process. In any case we will investigate this issue accordingly and we appreciate that you communicated to us. Our pool area and water massage facility is indeed not heated and our guests enjoy swimming during their stay here. Hotel Goulielmos is only 15 minutes away by car or bus from the capital of Santorini Fira and around the area of Akrotiri Village our guests may find a great variety of restaurants, some of them also offer a free pick up service for their convenience! Unfortunately, the wind is the only thing that we cannot do anything about, but wait until its short duration is over! Kindly note that from the 1st of January 2018 an additional accomodation tax is charged to our guests and all the agencies and online reservation platforms have been informed accordingly. All taxes are collected and then paid directly from the Hotels to the relevant Greek Authorities. We are deeply sorry that the payment of this accomodation tax caused you any inconvenience. The room was comfortable with good amenties! Very clean! The wifi is perfect! The staff is very helpful and happy! It has a wonderful view of caldera :) Not close to Fira ( about 25’ min by car) Very close to Red Beach! The breakfast gives you many choices!!

Muy agradable y confortable con un trato excelente
Una localizacion maravillosa. Personal encantador aunque escaso para la cena, pedimos unas bebidas antes de la puesta de sol y llegaron muy tarde, necesitarian otro camarero, uno dentro y otro afuera.

Accueil chaleureux en français explications des diverses sorties bonnes adresses . Chambre donnant sur le jardin un peu petite et sombre mais avec petite terasse équipée. Exellent petit déjeuner. Vue sur les falaises côté mer surprenante et impressionnante piscine sur place et plages à proximité

accueillant et disponible personnel.La chambre 42 est situé au dessous des cuisines vraisemblablement car des bruits de rangements de couverts de verres ou d'assiettes étaient perceptibles en soirée ou des objets roulant sur le sol (tables à roulettes?) perceptibles le matin. Peu confortable. J'avais un réfrigérateur mais j'ai dû le débrancher car il faisait du bruit dans la nuit.

Adoramos a estadia no hotel. Café da manhã farto e com muita variedade, além da vista magnifica do salão onde é servido o café. O staff é excelente e nos deu diversas dicas de como aproveitar melhor a ilha. Altamente recomendado!

Come here when you visit Santorini
Beautiful comfortable and friendly 5 star hotel perched in the edge of the Caldera. Secluded from the noise and lights of the downtown areas but so worth it. We felt like we were at a Four Seasons hotel. This area is the Wailea of Santorini. Awesome place.
