A bright, exceptionally clean hotel situated in the centre of Skala, a few minutes walk from the port. Close to bars, cafes and restaurants but set back from the main street , so quiet and peaceful. The proprietor was very welcoming and helpful and was keen to ensure his guests had an enjoyable stay.

Es ist eine sehr angenehme Unterkunft hinter der Einkaufs- und Restaurant"meile". Man hat jedoch absolute Ruhe vom Verkehr dort. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr sauber. Der Gastgeber ist sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Er berät einem gerne bezüglich Ausflügen und hilft einem immer. Sie liegt sehr praktisch, ist vom Hafen in 3min erreichbar und man ist schön in der Mitte zwischen den schönen Stränden und Chora. Der perfekte Ort in Patmos, insbesondere wenn dein Budget nicht allzu gross ist.

Very clean, great location, best owner in Greece
Very clean on a quiet street and a minute away from the main street of Patmos, this is the ideal place to stay at while enjoying your trip to the beautiful Greek island of Patmos. With a fantastic wi-fi connection and the best and friendliest service in the world from the owner Thomas, Hotel Rodon is the best value. The views form the balcony were awesome, the double bed comfortable and I will definitely be coming back to this hotel when I return next year!

This was a great find as part of my summer island hopping. My first visit to Patmos and definitely not my last. This hotel was easy to find and a 5 minute walk from the ferry port. The location is great for everything. In the centre of things but also tucked away, so quiet as well. Excellent value for money. Tom who runs the hotel is an excellent host. So helpful and accommodating. He gave me a great recommendation for scooter rental plus an excellent restaurant recommendation that I used a number of times and where I had the most amazing grilled squid. He was also helpful recommending beaches and logistics of visiting the monastery and cave. Thank you Tom.

Loved it, definitely staying here again
Me and my mom we really enjoyed the hotel and its location, which is really close to the port, restaurants, taxis, but in a very quiet area. The owner was really helpful and friendly, he even went to pick us up in front of the port late at night so we would not get lost, and we appreciated it so much. Everything was clean, nice, and working just fine... AC, wifi, you name it. We loved everything about our stay and just wished we had stayed longer. Patmos is really beautiful and needs about 3 days.

Stayed in Rodon hotel during my vacations in Patmos July 2023. The facility was in the center of Skala. Super convenient. Walking distance to all the stores/ restaurants and cafe. Exceptional save and clean.

If I came back to Patmos I would absolutely stay here again. It was clean in a Spartan way and very convenient to the port area. There was easy access to our room and even a small balcony. Highly recommend!

Great place and service
The place was great. As I am learning, now all hotels have a 24/7 desk. I booked and the owner came to let me in during the evening. One of the great things that Thomas did was at 2am, he knocked on my door to let me know my boat came. There was confusion as I knew my boat was late from its scheduled time but I don’t think Thomas knew as I didn’t expect him to do such a great act. Ferries have a fixed schedule. So I quickly packed my things and Thomas gave me a lift on his scooter to the port. Turns out it wasn’t my boat BUT what matters is the service Thomas gave in making sure I got to my boat. The place was clean, you are in walking distance of restaurants and bars. I highly recommend staying here. 10/10

The place to stay in Skala
Perfect location, close to the port, Beach,bus/taxi and allmost placed in the city centre. Lots of places to eat, drink and shop just around the corner, but still in an quiet atmosphere. It was good value for the money and best of all, the friendly and very helpfull hotel owner Thomas and his family made os feel reallly relaxed during our stay.

Fantastisk ställe , personal fixar allt , de är mycket trevliga Hotelet är unik och är nära till allt. Ägarna är mycket trevliga och artiga. Vi kommer att rekommendera stället Mycket Bra priser för ett sånt fint boende.. Rent och de städar varje dag❤️ Dock inga kock plattor, att laga något lätt mat på eller Kocks kaffe. Ber man om om kaffe fixar ägarna det.. topp ställe vi kommer tillbaka 😀

Accueil excellent et chaleureux de Thomas qui nous a proposé dès notre arrivée en début de matinée, une chambre qui était prête. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le geste. Notre chambre était parfaite, super propre, fonctionnelle et avec un balcon avec table et chaises offrant une très belle vue dégagée. L'hôtel est à 5mn à pied du quai des ferries. Encore merci Thomas

A good mid range hotel at a fair price for Patmos. Great location, 200 metres from ferry,50 from town square (don't beieve google maps!) But still quiet because it's on a side steet. Friendly, helpful staff. Again , ignore google maps!!!

The ferry was late leaving Rhodes due to a technical failure so instead of arriving at Midnight we arrived at 2am Thomas the manager was waiting for us, by 2.25am we were asleep.

Wahsinns Service. Wir sind sehr spät angekommen am Hafen um 3 in der früh und wurden abgeholt von Thomas von Hotel Rodon, obwohl nichts ausgemacht wurde. Sehr netter und lieber Mann. Er ist uns sehr zuvorgekommen und hat uns sogar ein gratis Zimmer Upgrade gegeben mit sehr schönen Ausblick. Vielen Dank

The Jewel Of Patmos
The host, Thonas, is the best that ever was. He met us at the ferry at 3:20 a.m. Walked us to the hotel and our room and provided detailed instructions for everything. He is super pleasant. The hotel is located a few minutes from the port and right next to the town square. The bus stop abd taxi stand are within a 5 minute walk. The hotel has been in Thonas’ family for a few generations and is clean and very pretty. I found a jewel. I cannot overstate how much we enjoyed our experience with Thomas and his hotel.

A great place to stay on Patmos
The hotel is in a perfect location to explore Patmos. The rooms are simple but functional and clean. Thomas is a very dedicated host and couldn't have been more helpful. He met us at the ferry port well midnight to show us to the hotel. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay!
Incredible stay! The host Tom made it more amazing. He was waiting for me at the boat unknown to me. It was such a pleasant surprise. I would definitely return. The location was perfect- walking distance to everything, right in the center of the village Skala but super quiet. I walked all around the island from the hotel - Chora, Kampos, many beaches. The bus is nearby as well and the boat is 5 min walk. Numerous stores, restaurants, and bars are just outside the hotel. The room was new, clean and comfortable with a balcony table and chairs an a large mini fridge. The bed was me and super comfy. The room was quiet and I got a great night sleep. There is a nice garden patio outside the hotel with shade, tables, chairs and super fast WiFi. I was very happy with the place. It’s definitely basic accommodations- nothing luxury but a super value and great place to base to see Patmos.

We highly recommended Rodon Hotel. It’s position is excellent, as it is in the center of Scala and the sea, restaurants, shops and motorbike rental places are really close. The rooms are impeccably clean and silent at night, towels are changed daily and there is a fridge and air conditioning in each room. The host, Thomas, is incredibly kind and helpful. We lost our ferry but he immediately helped us find a new ticket and accommodation for the extra night we had to spend in Patmos. Our stay was extremely relaxing and pleasant. We will definitely come back.

We had an all-around excellent experience at Hotel Rodon. Tom was very welcoming and accommodating, and he went above and beyond to make our stay in Patmos wonderful. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. We will definitely stay here again if we make it back to Patmos. We highly recommend!!

Εξαιρετική Διαμονή στο Ρόδον
Επισκεφτήκαμε την Πάτμο και μείναμε κατενθουσιασμένοι από την παροχή υπηρεσιών του Ξενοδοχείου Ρόδον. Άψογη τήρηση των μέτρων προστασίας κατά του covid19. Απλό, λιτό κατάλυμα με air condition, νέα κουφώματα, ψυγείο και χρηματοκιβώτιο. Πεντακάθαρο. Ο ιδιοκτήτης Θωμάς μας έδωσε χρήσιμες συμβουλές για την περιήγησή μας στην Πάτμο. Ευχαριστούμε πολύ για όλα!

I cannot rave enough about this place. Hotel is right in the center of Skala, clean, quiet. The bedrooms are recently refurbished with all new equipment and a lot of light (and the bed is sooo comfortable!!). But what makes it really special is the hospitality. Thomas goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, help you see the best of Patmos, or even hang out with guests over drinks in the evening. It s so good that most guests become regulars or extend their stay. Highly recommend

Απλά τέλειο
Εξαιρετικό ξενοδοχείο στο κέντρο της Σκάλας Πάτμου σε απόσταση ενός λεπτού από το λιμάνι και την κεντρική πλατεία. Η καθαριότητα υποδειγματικη. Αλλαγή πετσετων κάθε μέρα. Το μπάνιο εξαιρετικό με ζεστό νερό κάθε στιγμή και σωστή πίεση νερού. Γύρω από το ξενοδοχείο πολλά εστιατόρια, καφέ, φούρνοι και μίνι μάρκετ για τα απαραίτητα. Πολλά δωμάτια έχουν θέα το λιμάνι και το ανεπανάληπτο καστρομοναστερο του Αγίου Ιωάννη του Θεολόγου. Ησυχη και ασφαλή τοποθεσία. Για το τέλος ο οικοδεσπότης Θωμάς. Φιλικότατος και εξυπηρετικοτατος. Πρόθυμος να βοηθήσει και να λύσει κάθε απορία. Συστήνεται ανεπιφύλακτα όπως και η Πάτμος.

Very pleasant stay! Thomas the owner is a very friendly and helpful person, who helped us with rentals, gave us really good tips and surprised us with sweets every evening. The location is relay good too. We would definitely stay here again.
