”I would not recommend this place. The loft was dirty when we arrived, dirt on the rug and black hairs in the shower and in the bed . The room was also about 80 degrees . We were running late for our meeting due to traffic so couldn’t address this at the time. At about 11:30pm we came back and just got our things . I sent the owner a message and asked for some kind of refund . I get that the place is old but at least make sure it’s clean . So now we were exhausted from the drive and the training...

”We stayed at Visitation during our son and DIL marriage in the Frederick courthouse- afterwards we reserved dinner at Wye Oak Tavern. The environment, presentation and superior taste of food made for a memorable evening. They treated us with a glass of complimentary champagne to celebrate our night and we never felt rushed to leave that evening. It was a special night and our stay at hotel was superb - rooms were immaculate and comfortable- hotel grounds were lovely to relax.”

”Had to ask for pots and pans, no way to clean them. One of the stairwells smells like rat piss. I would never bring a corporate retreat there. Hidden cleaning and electric bill fees. The hood range for the stove top did not work. Price was right though ”

”The staff was wonderful. The amenities were there. The property is under construction. The backside is on a railroad track, & it was not the cleanest by a stretch/ all around the property. The room was clean. ”

”Very nice hotel, nice staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. Just be aware that there is no elevator to the second floor when booking. Will definitely stay there again next time in town. Walking distance to Baugher's Diner where we had great meals with excellent service.”

”I really don’t think the security was great as the doors kept on being propped open. There is blood spots on my bed and on some of the towels.”
