”Best location and accommodations in Hudson!”

”The location of the property was excellent! The room we had was clean. Two things that were not good- there is no real kitchen area,(or area to gather outside of our room) it is in a small hallway by the back door and does not have a freezer or ice available. Our air conditioner did not work properly and woke us up throughout the night.”

”We had the room with the balcony. That added space was lovely. However there were dead insects on the bathroom sink when we arrived and stains on some of the towels which really made my daughter uncomfortable with the whole stay”

”The staff is lovely and accommodating. I had booked the only room where pets are allowed though ultimately declined to bring mine. Happy to say there was no evidence a pet had ever stayed there. The room was spotless, tastefully renovated with no sign of wear or tear. While the room is not very large, the bathroom was spacious and the accommodations seemed suitable for a small to mid-sized pet. Comfy beds, gorgeous bathroom, and spacious; true to the photos. The staff were very warm and welcoming and quickly responsive. ”I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. I don't understand the complaints about the noise or rude staff, becauee we experienced the exact opposite. The staff were warm & welcoming, and very friendly. Overnight, it was peaceful and quiet. ”There was no staff on site. Rooms are nicely remodeled but the property looks like it is still under construction. My wife was afraid and refused to stay. I had to find another hotel for the night.”

”This is an older property, so if you are looking for luxury this is not for you. It is clean, has working a/c, shower, TV , microwave, coffee maker and a bed. It has a beautiful pool area, although we did not use it. We just need a clean, safe place to sleep and shower. We stayed her last year as well, for Follow the Arrow Festival. Ther is a great restaurant next door.”

”The staff was either incompetent or rude. No one to help with bags. After asking to have the room cleaned and being told it would be cleaned in a few minutes; it still had not been cleaned 2and a half hours later. No full length mirrors anywhere. The safe was unreachable if you were short. Some of my friends rooms did not have hot water. My friend had a mani/pedi appointment. They took her 40 minutes late. She could only have one service. Wish I had saved the money and stayed at the Marriott.”
