”Quiet and comfotable”

”The room was clean and nicely decorated. There is no staff on the property, but were reachable via text. There were snacks in the kitchen and a fridge to store a few things in. The parking is limited & inconvenient, having to move our car from one side of the street to another to adhere to odd/even days. We enjoyed the outdoor space.”

”It is well designed and spacious. They thought of many important details that made it more comfortable and it is perfect for solo travelers.”

”The connection to the restaurant was interesting. Location was good. Staff exceedingly helpful and nice. Room was on an upper floor - they might want to let people know about accessibility for older people.”

”We were in the area for a wedding and stayed a few extra days at The Amelia. We loved the hotel and had a huge 1 bedroom suite on the top floor. It felt like staying in someone’s personal home. The hotel is extremely clean and our room was kept tidy daily. There is a small kitchen area stocked with coffee, tea, drinks and snacks. It was only a few short blocks to the main part of town with great coffee shops, restaurants and stores. I would definitely book this hotel again if we are in the...

”We arrived in the hotel wet from the rain and was welcomed by Zachary Lancaster who was i think drunk and told that he would check the room if the room is cleaned and available while he made us wait for more than 30 minutes he never came back. Glad that there was someone to check us in. But very disappointed with this person and hope it never happens to the next guest. I hope Zachary Lancaster faces consequences with this behavior.”

”We stayed here for one night to break up a long drive, and overall it was a decent experience. The property itself is beautiful, with lots of plants and gardens, and it looks like the host is continually improving and adding to the space. The room was clean and comfortable once we got settled. When we arrived, it appeared the room hadn’t been cleaned yet, but after reaching out to Steven, he responded immediately and had his housekeeper come take care of it right away. ”What a charming treat! We felt right at home and enjoyed everything from the thoughtful owner who took care of our needs to the beautiful patios where we sipped our coffee! So perfect!”

”This is an older property, so if you are looking for luxury this is not for you. It is clean, has working a/c, shower, TV , microwave, coffee maker and a bed. It has a beautiful pool area, although we did not use it. We just need a clean, safe place to sleep and shower. We stayed her last year as well, for Follow the Arrow Festival. Ther is a great restaurant next door.”

”The interior of our room was very clean. The automated entry system worked fine. The sound-proofing of the room was quite good, given that the hotel is on a pretty busy stretch of road. There was a fridge, but no sign of an ice machine anywhere. A microwave would have been nice since we brought back leftovers to have for breakfast. ”The staff was either incompetent or rude. No one to help with bags. After asking to have the room cleaned and being told it would be cleaned in a few minutes; it still had not been cleaned 2and a half hours later. No full length mirrors anywhere. The safe was unreachable if you were short. Some of my friends rooms did not have hot water. My friend had a mani/pedi appointment. They took her 40 minutes late. She could only have one service. Wish I had saved the money and stayed at the Marriott.”
