”Great location, beautifully decorated room and good quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc. However .. our room (9) was TINY .. the gap on one side of the bed was approx 8 inches between the bed and the wall so very difficult to navigate safely particularly at night without stubbing your toe on the one side or bumping into to door handle on the other. There was no where to put a suitcase to unpack other than on the bed or the floor which was difficult for us. The en-suite was tastefully...

”The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings and we were lucky to be given a stone cottage apartment with outside decking overlooking the pond and grounds. Beautiful! The staff were all very pleasant but overstretched and and quite stressed at times. Breakfast was good but didn't run smoothly. The restaurant food and service was very good.The pool and spa were really lovely and the gym looked amazing. Don't rely on trying to get a taxi anywhere. Our main reason for staying here was to visit...

”Owned and managed by the traditional Bull pub. The loft was behind the pub carpark - very convenient. Ever your car registration at the bar. Room was spacious warm clean and tidy with basic kitchenette. A had a good deal on this room, but at full price it's still excellent value.Make sure ou visit the pub. ”

”My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up.”

”All staff I encountered were pleasant, helpful, and approachable throughout my stay. A dip in the hotel pool was extremely welcome during the current heatwave. I found it very relaxing, with plenty of room for swimming. The room itself was pleasant and spacious; however, I was disappointed that there was no air conditioning, although a fan was provided in the wardrobe. There were also no plug sockets near the bed and no USB or USB-C charging outlets in the room, which is something most hotels...
