”Very nice stay, room clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, full English, used the restaurant for evening meal which was very enjoyable. Wasn’t keen on the very small smart TV in the room but owners were lovely and so was Hannah. A wonderful waitress ”

”Overall our stay was very pleasant; the staff friendly and helpful. However we had a room for 3 adults and apart from having to pull the sofa bed out and make it ourselves it was extremely uncomfortable with a mattress so thin the metal work could be felt. We would also have liked hot milk at breakfast (for weetabix) which we were told wasn't available. The hotel served our purpose but was not the same standard as other Best Western hotels. ”

”The breakfast was lovely. There’s no air-conditioning so you’ll have to crack the window. There’s some stairs, so just be aware that you need to carry your luggage up some stairs. The staff are very helpful and friendly. ”

”Spotlessly clean. Very welcoming staff. The sofa could do with an upgrade for comfyness. There are some stains on the carpet by the dining table. There's enough utensils, crockery etc and everything works fine; but I think it's a place designed for a short stay. Cellular signal is poor (EE). It is in an excellent spot and it's easy to park in the adjacent public car park and check in your numberplate at the bar so it's free.”

”The location was perfect and our room was lovely and clean. Nice pubs and Londis within walking distance. Owners, Kel and Mel were very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area, giving directions to walks along the canal and the history of the local area. The cooked breakfast was outstanding!”
