”Our stay at The Roost was absolutely amazing! After driving two and a half hours from out of state, arriving at another subpar hotel, and having to quickly cancel our reservation, finding The Roost at the last minute truly felt heaven-sent.

”The reception told I would get a quiet room that I had requested upon booking. Eventually, my room was right on top of the main entrance where I could hear all the cars leaving their guests to the hotel. There was also a small playground facing my room. The noise was even worse because the door of my balcony couldn't be closed completely. Sound proofing in my room was also very poor and I could hear my neighbors and people walking on the aisle. There was also smell of smoking coming into my room...

”The hotel seemed as if it needed a little bit of a wash and freshen up. We had two TVs in our room and neither one worked. The valet also lost our AirTag. The valet manager was amazing and replaced it right away which was super kind of her.”

”The good: staff friendly, nice having a full fridge, bed was reasonably comfortable. Wifi has no issues.
The bad:
-Room was dusty and not very clean. The bathroom trash was not emptied before my visit and there was actual sanitary product waste in there.
-The room was incredibly small, it felt like a dorm, the tv was at an angle where I had to move around the furniture to see it from the bed, which is the only place to sit except the dilapidated office chair. It was impossible to watch TV...

”Lovely hotel, clean, excellent housekeeping. My only issue was where to find ice machine. The signage on the 7th floor showed 701-714 was ice and vending...however that was someone's room, no ice machine. The following day I asked the young lady at the desk where was the ice machines. She asked me what floor I was on I said I was in 721 she stated there were ice machines on the 7th floor on the side where the high room numbers were..no there were no ice machines...there was a room with no door...

”This hotel is clean, easy to get to and the front desk staff was great. Very nice ambiance.
I didn’t like the barn doors on the bathroom that do not provide privacy. Vent didn’t work great. Housekeeping left hand towels and big towels but no new washcloths/face towels.
The valet team was horrible, a lot of people working but only the older gentleman actually worked hard. The younger attendants were slow to respond or had to be approached. The employees were generally friendly and were greeting...
