”We enjoyed our stay at this unique property. The communication and ease of checking in was excellent and the location exceptional for a quick stay in downtown Gulfport. The stairs were not an issue for us and the amenities were fine. The quirky decor and extra room with a sofa added to the comfort. Two free cocktails that accompanied the room’s description were nice. (We stayed in the Paloma room.) Only one thing was amiss - contrary to the instructions, guests in the hotel did not receive 10%...

”First impression of the home was disappointing, the property is not maintain, the grounds/lawn is over grown with weeds and trash, no garden, the garbage can was full of trash and the house is old. The inside is very nice with newer appliances, flat screen TVs, nice bedding and a very comfortable bed, bathroom was clean, the living room was clean but had an old couch. ”Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was unbelievably fresh and delicious. There was even an omelette station. Parking was a bit tricky and there is some construction; but, I would 100% stay there again”

”Great location right on the beach, with umbrella and chair rentals available. Staff was kind and helpful. My room had a slight smoke odor, which was strange as I booked a non smoking room. Additionally, you can hear other guests in other rooms very easily, more so than in other hotels. However, I spent the majority of my time on the beach so I didn't mind much. I love the Sirata's location - have stayed many times and will stay again.”

I attempted to alert her to a parking issue and she gave me her phone to speak into an app translator. The problem was the parking space I was assigned too and required to pay for had pipes protruding from the concrete inside the parking lines, the pool door opened to parking lot and it banged against the front of my car - Juan the absentee manager had staff put a DIY bucket in front...

”Rooms are over priced. Hotel charges for parking, chairs on beach, etc. For overpriced room should include parking, and beach chair. I’d pick another beach hotel.”

”Booked for 3 nights and paid to park. Left after 1 night & was not able to speak with anyone by the phone number provided despite many attempts. The woman @ the desk did not seem to care about my concerns, refused any refund for parking or the $45/day resort fee. PROS: Balcony with nice view Female bartender at the outside bar was very pleasant 2 oz of sparkling wine at check in Cookies in the lobby in the evening Learned a valuable lesson; look at lowest reviews 1st as many of the "Terrible"...
