”Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr komfortable Zimmer und Terrasse mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten und liebevollen Details. Makellos sauber. Infrastruktur nicht zu überbieten. Trotzdem wunderbar ruhig. Das einzige Manko, es gibt auch Raucherzimmer, leider rieht man den Rauch gelegentlich auch in den Nichtraucherzimmern. Ich würde sofort wieder buchen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. ”

They assisted us in securing reservations for the National Art Museum, which is nearly impossible if you don't have a Chinese phone number or speak Mandarin. The property has the authentic feel of an old Beijing courtyard house, and staying here turned out to be a much more enjoyable and memorable experience than staying in one of the large international chain hotels that we were originally...
”We had a fabulous stay at the Puxuan! Great views to the Forbidden City, cosy room with detailed luxury! The service was perfect and personal. We felt like ‘coming home’ everyday after our sightseeing excursions! Beautiful and high-quality breakfast, the Asian breakfast set was our favourite and felt like an art experience. The location is very good and ideal for discovering the old Beijing. We would definitely recommend the Puxuan to anyone looking for a modern, intellectual and unique Beijing...

I took a chance and booked us a location that was off the touristy spot where all the big hotels were - so glad I did - VUE is a hidden gem. We took to walking around the Hutong neighborhoods right away, my father loved his morning walks in Houhai Park which was right behind the hotel.
