”The beds were comfortable and clean. There was a slight learning curve to operating the shower. The kitchen was modern clean and fully stocked. There was also an honesty bar that provided all sorts of mixed drinks and wines. The drive along the private road is stunning breathtaking views of Abergavenny and surrounded by animals. The area has such low light pollution, it was lovely to sit outside at night and see the stars so clearly. The area is private and secure as we had children with us that loved running around outside. The property was lovely, quant and had everything we could need for our 3 day motorbike tour of Wales. There we could walk to a very nice pub and shop in Gilwern which took only about 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely quiet cottage around the Brecons. ”

”We had a great family weekend away. The house is lovely and the beds were very comfortable. Its run by the pub next door and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good location for shops if you run out of supplies. BBQ could do with a good clean as too dirty and rusty to use. Stairs very narrow and windy so not suitable for people with limited mobility.”

”We stayed here as a group and the set up was great with bedrooms either end of the lodge as it gave privacy if needed. It was clean and had everything needed for a stay, home from home. I had text communication with Noemi from the minute we got there and nothing was too much bother and I got quick, helpful responses. I can’t think of anything that was a negative! We will definitely be back ourselves for a longer stay and highly recommend Fuseli Lodge to anyone. ”
