”The flat was lovely and cosy... the garden was a lovely surprise as it's not easy to see how high up it is from the images but steep steps are noted which wasnt a problem for us. Perfect location of you are climbing Snowden on the Rhyd Ddu path!”

”Staying on a platform with occasional steam trains passing by. Wonderful experience. Cottage is well equipped and close to Llangollen and Corwen for shops. Having the beds made as double requires some gymnastics as headroom is limited in the converted loft. Overall a lovely place to stay and well recommended. In addition we chatted to the signalman and he happily gave us a tour of the signal box. ”

”We enjoyed our stay in Hilltop cottage. The entire house is decorated very tasteful with retro style and family themed. We loved all the doll decorations and wall hangings so much...that we created a separate album of all the pics we took in the cottage. The only issue we found is with the noise of water supply through the pipes to toilets and other appliances when is use. Otherwise everything else was perfect. We will surely recommend to stay here if you are visiting Snowdonia area with friends...

”It is a beautiful cottage . Ideal location local village shop, and pubs in area . Have so many walks in area to do . We drove to many locations , snowden , dinorwic slate quarry . Waterfalls in area . Betws-y-coed. House is huge ! . Only one thing I would ask to change is to have a king size bed ,as having a hubby over 6ft 2 ! He took the bed up 😂. That's only one thing I would advise . It's warm and cosy . We loved it !! Including the welcome starter pack . Just what we needed when arrived .”

”Access to the cottage was terrible. There is a narrow, steep and slippery ( with leaves) track with a severe bend . We had to partially unload our vw van in order to get up the hill. Once at the parking space, there was an 80m overgrown and slippery path to go down with several steps. The area around the cottage was not looked after, overgrown and in need of a lot of work. There was a nearly full food waste bin outside the front door with evidence of vermin activity. The inside of the cottage...

”The cottage was a disappointment. It was described as “superb, beautifully decorated, tasteful, and with the ability to take a long bath “none of these were true. The cottage is cheaply and minimally, furnished with very limited amenities, there was no hairdryer, no firewood, and no heat upon arrival. It was very cold and it took 24 hours for the heater to be effective. The back garden is unattractive and unwelcoming. There is very limited water pressure making it impossible to take a bathtub...
