”Tämä hotelli on hieno! Aivan Ashi järven rannalla. Ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta.”

”My wife and I enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The kitchen was equipped enough to cook simple meals and the view of the lake was great. It was super foggy and windy the first night but luckily it cleared up so we could enjoy it. Our only complaint were the beds being as hard as the floor but thankfully there were futon pads available so we put those on the beds and slept fine. The hot tub also worked great and was very relaxing. Also the parking is a little tight to get into. We had a very...

”お世話になりました！ とても楽しい滞在時間でした。 施設も綺麗で良かったのですが一部屋スズメバチが2匹いて寝ることができませんでした。 危なすぎてエアコンを切ることもできませんでした。 申し訳ありません。”

”We were a group of four Finns. Our room was quite large and we had a nice view to the lake and the mountains, even though we were in the first floor. The included breakfast and dinner were tasty and filling. The service was amazing. We also had no problems in communicating with the staff in English. I would absolutely recommend this place for my family and friends.”

”Amenities were amazing! The private onsen was a huge draw. In terms of the food, breakfast was a standout; loved it. And the staff were very attentive! Thank you Fujiwara-san!”

”The hotel is close to the Koen-Shimo Cable Car station so it is easy to reach. The staff was super friendly and helpful even though we don't speak Japanese and some of them didn't speak English. Big rooms and all the free drinks, snacks and pyjamas were a big plus! Room was super warm (maybe even too warm when we arrived) but you can manage the heater yourself. Dinner and the Japanese style breakfast were delicious. Great first ryokan experience for us! ”

”We loved this Hotel! By far the best accommodations we had on our trip to Japan, and for that matter, most of our trips abroad! The room was great, especially the indoor/outdoor soaking tub. The specialized dinner and breakfast were great, a fantastic true Japanese dining experience. We arrived at the hotel around lunch time and before our room was ready. We had heard that Hakone was known for Soba and inquired about a restaurant recommendation. Our host smiled and in broken english said...

”Beautiful rooms & setting. Very peaceful & relaxing. Both the kaiseki dinner & Japanese breakfast were amazing & the servers were attentive and friendly.”

”Great spot for 5. Location felt secluded, but everything was a short train or taxi ride away.”

”I really enjoyed my stay in this historical hotel! I got a really nice room in the forest wing so I could see the woods. It was peaceful and bed was really comfy. Loved the spa too. Will come back!”
