”Traditional ryokan in for the night was lovely! Room was very traditional and staff were polite. We had breakfast and dinner which was interestin. The views and private onsen were lovely and I felt very relaxed there. Only improvements would be to allow luggage storage/transport to station and cleaner onsen. ”

”Hyatt in Hakone Gora is a real 5-star hotel with highly professional and friendly staff. Location is good as you can take a cable car to go either up or down the mountain. Living room of the hotel is a great surprise with champagne service in the evening. ”

”Great hotel and clean. Very nice onsen and massage chair. I would definitely return! The walk from the tramway is 6 minutes along flat, but otherwise the walk up from the station is worth taking a taxi as it is quite steep.”

”Upea paikka Hakonen Gorassa. Aamupala oli kattava ja pääosin japanilaistyyppinen, mitä itse pidin hyvänä, maassa maan tavalla. Illan ilmainen olut, alkoholi ja snack tarjoilu oli myös upea lisä! Kävimme myös illallisella hotellissa, se oli hintava (n. 50€), mutta erinomainen hinta-laatusuhde, sillä hintaan sisältyi hyvän buffetin lisäksi myös valittavissa oleva irrallinen pääruoka, sekä alkoholilliset ruokajuomat. Hyvä sijainti, johon on helppo tulla esim. Tokiosta. Yleinen ja priva Onsen...

”Musashino bekkan offered us a perfect ryokan experience. Travelling as a family with two younger kids, the hospitality was amazing. Our room was beautiful, with views to enjoy. Tea was always available in the room. The kaiseki style dinners were an experience themselves, fresh, amazing flavors, beautiful set up and we definitely were not left hungry. The kids were also taken into consideration very nicely. We enjoyed the onsen, very calm and relaxing! Would definitely recommend, our experience...

”We loved this accommodation! I was sad to only have stayed one night. There is a 7-11 we walked to for food and snacks, a bus stop we walked to for transport for sightseeing and a nice view of the mountains from the dining room. During our trip we went to onsens and shrines. At the Stagione we enjoyed the heated water for the bath and showers. There is one bathtub and two showers. There are two toilets. I thought having a blow dryer and also a small hair straightener was a kind thoughtfulness....
