”We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good.
Staff very helpful and friendly.”

”Very enjoyable stay. Excellent staff led by John the general manager, whose welcome is friendly and genuine. Top marks.
Room comfortable if slightly very cramped . Excellent breakfast that used fine local ingredients. Dinner was good too, but a few of the dishes just need a little more finesse to make the Michelin guide.
Overall, strongly recommended thanks to John and his team.”

”Positive:
Clean room and comfortable bed
Very good breakfasts
Negative:
No hot water for the whole 5 days I was there, though promised each day.
Shower attachment broken so a (cold) shower was only possible by holding the shower head.
The stand of one of the fans was broken
The wifi in the room did not work
Evening meals were not available as stated on the website - MUCH more limited menu than on their website and not available on all the evenings stated. I chose this accommodation having...
