We stayed here for one night and it was perfect for that. The ladies in the pub are super friendly and we enjoyed the big breakfast and evening dinner.

Our first room had a bit of an odd smell, but the staff responded quickly and moved us to a new room. The complimentary breakfast was also much better than we expected!

it was that bad we did not stay, the room smelt musty and damp, the parking was a dirt patch of land full of potholes, not much happened after 9 o'clock, you need to visit the property again it's not doing your image any favours.

Very welcoming. Staff very helpful and friendly. Twin room small with limited storage but comfortable. Excellent breakfasts. We were there to visit Snape Maltings which was a short and easy drive away. Recommended and would stay there again.

The full english breakfast was the nicest I have had in years. Staff are polite and helpful. Room looked exactly as it did in the picture, and was clean and quiet. The hotel provided shower soap also smelled amazing.

Positive: Clean room and comfortable bed Very good breakfasts Negative: No hot water for the whole 5 days I was there, though promised each day. Shower attachment broken so a (cold) shower was only possible by holding the shower head. The stand of one of the fans was broken The wifi in the room did not work Evening meals were not available as stated on the website - MUCH more limited menu than on their website and not available on all the evenings stated. I chose this accommodation having looked at what evening food was advertised. The misleading info about the food is still on the website as I write this. No wardrobe or drawers for storing clothes in the room, apart from one small hook rack. I found his accommodation so inconvenient that I abandoned my holiday after 4 of the 9 nights. I was subsequently charged for 5. I have used Expedia many many times, and I received excellent post-trip customer support from them. I will continue to book through Expedia

This wasnt a pleasant stay. Room had so many cobwebs and the shower had a shower curtain. In tge breakfast area it needed a good clean. The bar person was lovely. The breakfast was adequate but lacked flavour

Had to cancel my stay, yet they billed my credit card for 12 nights. Admin error at best, theft at worst. I'm letting my bank deal with it. Would not recommend unless this gets resolved.

No bin in bathroom towels too small and cheap , bedding cheap, outside area in poor state and bad marks on walls in room no food serverd in bar on a Monday eve not told on web sight so had to go out to find food would not have booked if known Excellent breakfast tho

Room wasn't very clean- the bin hadn't been emptied from a previous stay. Some slats on the window were missing resulting in us having to use a towel on the window to prevent anyone looking in. There was also no hot water in the morning…(manager was told about the hot water in the morning )

We arrived early but checking in was no problem. Very nice people. Food was nice too. Unfortunately we weren't too hungry so didn't get to sample the wonderful breakfast we read about. But the poached eggs were perfect. We stayed in a cabin which had everything you need for a short stay. It was warm and the bed was comfortable. The only thing I would say is the basin in the shower room was so small and awkward to use when brushing your teeth. A small niggle. Shower was fine, and very large.

All the details at time of booking lead me to believe I'd get a good meal and breakfast. Which didn't happen. The photos should not portray what is not available. the "chalet' was pretty poor and dated.

Just a base.

We were expecting a pod, but had a room round the back of the pub. Parking was easy. It was warm, and quiet. Staff very friendly. Breakfast good. In the room the tv looked precarious. The privacy blinds had been chewed by a dog and some bits were missing. The pillows were very poor( I always take my own) and the bed linen had not seen an iron. The towels were adequate and the water was hot but the shower hose needed a good clean with a nail brush. There was a small garden area with a picnic bench but the bench was rather rickety and there were a lot of big weeds in it. The twin beds were 2ft 6in each, rather small for adults but comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Perhaps I am just used to higher standards of comfort but a little investment and better housekeeping would be rewarded with more income for the owners.

Great staff and service.

My dog and I had a lovely stay here and we were both made to feel very welcome. The staff are all very warm and friendly. The accommodation is quite basic but clean and comfortable with a comfortable bed and hot shower, everything you need. A very well cooked breakfast is also included in the price. I didn’t have dinner but the food looked very good and well presented. The outside of the venue and garden areas could do with some TLC and tidying up but I think the business is still a working progress. With a little more attention in this area they will have a winner. This was my second stay and I will no doubt book this venue again. Their best asset by far is their staff and this on its own is what draws you back and I would highly recommend this venue on this merit. It makes such a difference to be greeted with happy and engaging staff. Service with a smile goes such a long way and is so important in making you feel a valued customer. I hope this business continues to grow and thrive and I wish them all good luck for their future.
