”Great location, extremely convenient to Summerhill and downtown Leiston. 10 minute taxi from Saxmundham train station. Book a cab in advance, as many cab “companies” are just a single driver and waits can be long when it’s busy. Host offers a variety of cereal in the morning. ”We were able to gain access to our property alot earlier than stated and was very pleased with the quality of the apartment and the sea view's. ”Room was small and a bit dated but a large balcony and we were lucky with the sunshine so we did sit out for a while each day. It would be beautiful in the summer ! That said the hotel is lovely, comfortable with lots of lively places to sit and read. The food is excellent - fantastic meal three courses for 33 pounds and well worth it. We would stay again and Aldeburgh is just lovely !!”

”The hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. We had a lovely big room with a gorgeous shower. But the stand out element was the food. The evening meal was stunning and delicious and the cooked breakfast was outstanding. An extra plus is that they serve up free canapés every afternoon. They were perfect and really gave us a taster of what the evening meal would be like. And all of the staff were very welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough. Will definitely stay there again. ”
