”A whole lot of plusses, with a couple of soft spots. Our room had an ocean-front view, and was definitely very clean. Very helpful staff. The 5pm happy hour sounded great, although we didn't go. The unit was fairly small, and had a bath, for some unknown reason, in the main room, taking up quite a bit of space. The bed was quite a bit too soft for us. We felt that the room was significantly overpriced, although we did not compare similar local establishments. BUT! We really liked the staff. ”

”Super cute, clean, and conveniently located b&b! We loved being able to walk the couple blocks to downtown HMB to get coffee in the morning or to grab dinner or a beer! The beach is also only about a 15-20 minute walk away. The host was very warm and friendly, and theres a cook that makes the included breakfast and you get to choose what time you want to eat. There’s a fully stocked coffee/tea bar, as well as free wine in the afternoon which was a super nice touch! It also has a nice patio area...

”I don't usually write reviews but I actually felt at home during our stay at Harbor View Inn. I highly recommend it. We got a king bedroom for our weekend getaway. The room was clean and bright with high celling. It has simple decorations with a chandelier and an electric fireplace make the place feels cozy. We left the windows open and we got ocean breeze all day long. It was very relaxing.”

”pros - Wonderful place. full of charm. well appointed, very comfortable bed/bedding. we loved the library in the common area. cons - they have inconsiderate neighbors. There was an offsite event happening at a church across the street with loud music playing until after midnight. Check with management before booking to make sure this is not a standard (saturday night) occurrence because it was terrible.”

”The Ocean view and the golf course view were fantastic. The walking trail is also nice. Golfers have access to Half Moon Bay Golf Links golf courses. The Ocean course is enjoyable. ”

”We booked a night on the way to SF that was close to the airport (about 30 minutes). Overall our stay went well. There are no restaurants close to the hotel and no vending machines for snacks. Breakfast was relatively decent - same as in the other Comfort Inns. Would like to have some fresh fruits or veggies - I guess it's not that typical in the US.”
