”Welcoming and warm - complimentary glass of mulled wine and mince pie on arrival and a lovely warm clean room. Staff are kind and thoughtful. Will definitely stay there again when in Halifax.”

”A good alternative to staying in Halifax for us while visiting family. Clean and comfy room with a modern feel and easy contact-free checkin/out. Has parking, but we were car free so used local taxis for the most part to/from Sowerby Bridge centre (£10 each way) and also walked a few times (be aware, quite a steep but enjoyable climb, takes around 25 mins). Nice quiet surroundings and good views over the Calderdale valley.

”Excellent for the price I paid. Rooms have recently been renovated and it showed. The only niggles were that the extractor fan in the bathroom was very noisy and probably needs replacing (room 10) and there was no hot water: I tried to have a shower but couldn't: No matter how long you ran the tap for or in which position the water never got warm.
Would definitely stay there again. Big thank you to Jamie who so very kindly let me check in early.”
”The room that we were first given was very dusty and looked as if it had not been cleaned for a long time so we were given another room. In this room the heating did not work so we were given a stand alone heater.
The up side was that the gentleman on reception did everything he could to resolve these issues which he did to our satisfaction.
