”The unit was as depicted in photos. Clean and well equipped. It is very centrally located within Hilo and has easy access to all surrounding areas. The manager was extremely easy to communicate with and very responsive. I had a small problem while there and it was addressed and fixed within 24 hours. Very good experience. ”

”The condo was exactly how it is advertised. Clean, comfortable, top of the line appliances, and away from the hustle and bustle of Merrie Monarch Activities but centrally located so you could participate and or attend any one of the many craft fairs. We loved it! If there is anything I could suggest it is to put up a full-body mirror. After all the shopping that takes place during MM week it would be nice to try on and see the clothes you purchased just in case you need to make exchanges. ”

”We loved our stay here and can only recommend. Very nice and clean, the couch is a comfortable fold out couch, and everything you may need is provided. It is a very peaceful place with stunning views from the room as well as the outdoor kitchen and outdoor seating. They have a nice cat and dog to chase the wild pigs away from their fruit trees. Be aware that the telephone number listed on Vrbo is a landline number, so you need to call, not text. The property is a gem and Adelina is the kindest...

”We were happy to find a place to stay in Hilo during Merrie Monarch because our trip came up late to help at an event. The loft is conveniently located, well kept and stocked with everything one could need. There were even extra cords for phones and a night light. Beds were comfortable. Fans in both rooms kept us cool at night. Important (we think) for folks renting this loft. The floors are uneven which was a bit of a challenge and the door to the entrance to the bath is small for larger...

Maggie was an exceptional host, very quick to respond and very kind to me on my arrival after a 25h trip. ”This property is special because of the amazing abundance of plants and flowers on the property, including a river and waterfall!! The night was a symphony of sounds, birds and frogs at night. We also enjoyed the communual netted gazebo on the patio with fairy lights. There is internet, but no cell service meant we didn't spend time on the phone, and why would we in this paradise :) ”

”Don't judge a book by its cover, the outside of the property was very plain. But inside was great, an old structure that has been newly remodeled with granite counter tops and new floors, the décor is beautiful. The photos on VRBO are accurate and fit my wife and I's needs perfectly. ”
