” rooms very clean, had afternoon drinks at the bar,staff helpful in showing us all the breakfast, lunch, dinner menus. We had a very late lunch and it was to close at 400pm. We wanted to try the fish and chips and staff was very accommodating even though it was close to closing the lunch menu, fish/chips excellent, fish so fresh!! we're coming again for fourth of July weekend for our anniversary and looking forward to our trip again!!!”

”Had a nice stay here in Hawi without completely breaking the bank, tho I do miss the old funky hotel that used to be a brothel. This was considerably more comfy, if pricier. Still a decent price. Nice people, right around the corner from the main area of shops in town so coffee and meals were simple. Great option.”

”This was amazing! Great staff, great location AND there's even a swimming hole (5 min walk, if that) with a waterfall! I've never stayed in a shared house before, but this one has spoiled me! It's close enough to be able to drive to all the good tourist spots. Oh, and hopefully you're there for the "big" farmers market on Saturdays. If I get back to the Big Island I'll be coming back here! Thank you for the great time!”

”We enjoyed staying here. As a big cat lover I was pleased of the friendly cats they had. The only negative side was the noise which started between 7-8am on mornings. We stayed in unit number 1 so I think that the staff started their day in the room next to ours. Also a sponge for dishes in the room would be nice to have - now we had to borrow it from the kitchen. ”

”If you are looking for a beautiful and quiet place to get away from it all this is it! As we opened the door of the cottage we were like wow this is beautiful and very clean! A tray filled with a variety of fruit and a loaf of banana bread (the banana bread was so yummy!) was waiting for us on the table as well as a welcome note from our hosts Laurel and Lani.
