”An excellent spot in the Stonetown. We stayed a couple of nights in Espresso. This location is near to the harbour area, and many shops for souvenirs or daily needs. The room was clean and spaceous, a slight surprise was the separate but private washroom - understandable in an old building with history and character. The service is excellent, and the breakfast was very versatile. High recommendations!”

”The service at the Neela was unparalleled. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, but never fawning or in the way. Make sure to visit not only their downstairs cafe, but also their rooftop restaurant. Highly recommend.”

”Vietimme loistavan kaksiviikkoisen loman tässä todella tasokkaassa hotellissa . En voisi kuvitella parenpaa ja ystävällisempää palvelua mitä saimme osaksemme. Aamiaisbuffetti oli täydellinen. Samoin menuu. Kaiken lisäksi pääkokki kävi kyselemässä että jos listalta ei löydy sopivaa niin tehdään sellainen. Ei tarvinnut tehdä. Sijainti erinomainen . Meren rannalla , kaupunkin keskustassa.”

”Not too far from Stonetown. Good for value. Construction next door made balcony view undesirable. Overall would stay again.”

”Sijainti oli hyvä ravintolan hintataso oli 1.5 kertaa muualla saatavasta. kattoterassi hieno mutta kun hinta oli baarissakin huikea niin ei porukkaakaan näkynyt.”

”Nice location with only steps to the water front, restaurants, boats to prison island and the Freddie Mercury museum. Breakfast was lovely and staff super friendly and helpful.”

”A Charming Historic Gem in the Heart of Stone Town! I spent two nights at Kholle House at the end of my three-week adventure in Tanzania, and it was a wonderful way to finish my trip. Kholle House is full of character and history, with beautiful traditional architecture, unique rooms and an atmosphere that feels distinctly Zanzibar. It's a refreshing change from a conventional hotel and adds to the experience of staying in historic Stone Town. One of my favourite spots was the rooftop...

”Short one night stay but nice room and warm wellcome. Breakfast was nice and close to the ferry.”

”Family owned, very friendly and welcoming. Zanzibar style decoration. Feeling like you are someone home. Good Breakfast.”

”Air conditioning work great and the hotel is in a great location”

”I was able to get very early (free) check-in and also late check-out. the hotel has a great and long history and it locates in fabulous and busy area in Stone Town. easy to find! many restaurants nearby, also only just 200 m to the beach. no place for parking nearby! The room was too huge for me actually, so it was even hard to see TV from the other end of the room. (not complaining at all about that!) clean toilet! great and changing breakfast, lovely service in every aspect. Somehow it was...
