”We stayed at the Birdham for a mini-break and were very pleased with our choice. It has been recently refurbished to a good standard and was very clean. The team were all very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. Bembridge itself is fairly small and quiet but it is easy to get to from the ferries and was also a good base for touring the island. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a nice place to stay for an Isle of Wight break.”

”The owners have clearly made a great effort to make sure this old building gives you a welcoming environment. The room was spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi excellent and secure and the room servicing great. The whole environment was well looked after. "Definately good hotel, maybe not quite living up five star status. Our third hotel stay during the same week, so it is easy to compare with other being four stars. The staff are doing their best, but glitches in new room cards and reception procedures left a sour taste. The place at the shore is nice, alltough part of the view is blocked by harbour warehouses. It is a bit far from the city centre by walking. The bar at the top has a nice view, but is noisy. All in all good experience, but not exceptionel."
